According to a commercial I just saw on Animal Planet, theres this special type of spiders where the female is 20 times bigger than the male, and she's a cannibal. Her suitors have to be real lucky to survive a scew with her.

she eats his head afterwards...literally.

Actually, I heard she eats his head before he's even finished.

"Ow! That hurts! But I'm so close... ow! OW! Oooh, just a LITTLE longer..!"

But a Praying Mantis isn't a spider! True she is a bitch that won't let her mate enjoy the afterglow. ;)

Male spiders never learn, they keeping asking for oral.

My understanding is the male mantis can't orgasm unless the female eats his head.

Drone honey bees gonads explode when they mate.

It's worse than that. When a drone succeeds in mating it will die because the reproductive organ and associated abdominal tissues are ripped from the drone's body as copulation occurs.

However, several drones typically mate with a virgin queen on her mating flights. I mean what we have here is not just a mating ritual, it is a gangbang! Wow! Who wudda' thought it of a little honeybee!
