The things some people feel they just have to do.

As i have mentioned before I work on an Oncology Floor in a local hospital.

Two of our R.N.'s decided they just had to create some decorations for the unit. Both of them are well known quilters and they managed to create minature Holiday Quilts for outside of each room. These quilts are roughly two feet by two feet and have scenes relating to either Christmas or Channuka. To say they are nice is being unkind. These things are beautiful and obviously took a lot of their time to create.

They put these quilts up outside of each room as well as in certain other places on the unit.

They have been up for a total of one week and you guessed it. Six of them have vanished.

Somehow some people have decided that they deserve to have them. Somehow some people have decided that their personal greed is more important than the enjoyment of anyone else.

We have an idea who at least some of the culprits are, and I'm sad to say they are employees in our hospital.

That is really disgusting. That is, if the culprits are hospital employees, rather than being the patients who took them into their rooms.

That does suck. Being Christian and yet feeling that I'm going to Hell for things I can't forgive myself for (and therefore don't feel right asking forgiveness for) puts me in an odd position.

I want to slap the silly shit out of them. However, I'm also fairly certain that stealing things of a religious nature merits its own punishment in one way or another, and I have ultimate faith that their transgression shall be sorted out at the highest level.

I say you hook up a taser, or pepper spray to one of the remaining quilts. When the would be thief tries to take it ................WHAM........ Taser electrodes right to the kisser. Booby traps to catch perps in the act ROCK!
