The medical/pharmaceutical establishment makes a staggering $100,000,000,000+ in profits per year from selling cancer treatments and medications. And that's just in the United States.

Obviously, given the sheer profitability of the disease, curing cancer would not be good for business. Scientists and medical researchers whom have cured a disease, or developed and extremely effective but unprofitable treatment, have had their medical licenses revoked and their practices terminated, they have been stalked, threatened, terrorized, had their laboratories burned down, or they and/or their colleagues have been outright murdered by dark criminal entities from the medical/pharmaceutical establishment. All to keep their inventions from threatening the conscienceless and ice-blooded profits and business interests of this multi-trillion dollar industry.

The best example of this is the case of the great Dr. Royal Raymond Rife, who actually cured all cancers in the early 20th century, but was quickly persecuted to death by the powers that be, and his invention never saw the light of day.

Don't get the wrong idea, your doctor isn't evil. Because it isn't the doctors, nurses, or the hospitals whom are responsible for this, it's the giant corporations and corrupt institutions whom seek wealth, power, control, and total dominance, at the dire cost of all humankind.

HOLY COW! Most people don't fully realize this because they're too busy watching football, but the world is a really, REALLY bad and evil place. I hope that one day it is ALL utterly obliterated by some doomsday cataclysm in order to finally bring closure to the horrific tragedy known as human civilization.

And despite your belief in the worst of humans, we keep making significant advances in the fight against cancer with many of the breakthroughs coming from the very people you condemn. Our cancer survival rates are the envy of the world and millions upon millions every year goes into finding cures. In addition to the "humanist" need for finding cures, our "market" based economy is structured to provide motivation too because the first with a new treatment is going to get overwhelmed with orders.

"market based" means that people do well if they deliver what the "people" want which is completely unlike the Keynsian approach so popular with our current elected officials who feel they should decide what people want and have that built (a command economy - much like the USSR). Want to buy a Volt?

Royal Raymond Rife (May 16, 1888 – August 5, 1971) was an American inventor and early exponent of high-magnification time-lapse cine-micrography.[1][2] He claimed that using a specially designed optical microscope,[3] only five of which were ever constructed, he could observe a number of viruses which he and several prominent medical doctors who worked with him thought were causal factors in several diseases, most notably cancer. Rife also reported that a "beam ray" device of his invention could weaken or destroy the pathogens by energetically exciting destructive resonances in their constituent chemicals.[4] However, Rife's claims were not readily independently replicated, and active scientific interest in the devices had dissipated by the 1950s

He's featured in Suppressed Inventions as well. His work, while not outside the realm of possibility always sounded a bit like a scam to me. Sort of a science faith healer, or something.

I think Mike's correct about any sort of 'cure' being found. There's too much at risk losing all that treatment money.

During the first 3/4 of the 20th century, someone under 30 dying of cancer was almost unheard of. Nowadays cancer is absolutely everywhere! Children are being born with it!

Treatments such as surgeries and chemotherapy causes cancer to get into remission, or "hiding," until it comes back 5 years later and kills you. This is the case with many cancer patients. Remission can last anywhere from 2-20 years, but 70% of the time, the cancer returns to finish you off.

From diagnosis to toe-tag, a cancer patient is worth between $750,000-1,000,000 after all of the chemotherapy and big pharma's drugs. Many Millions of people are diagnosed with cancer ever year. Throw in a few variables and multiply those numbers by millions, and you get trillions of dollars per year in profits, spread amongst pharmaceutical corporations and many other facets of the medical industry.

With those staggering financial figures, do you really think that "they" want to cure cancer? They could go bankrupt!
