The Ten Year War Of Ilium,depicted in the legendary works of Homer back in Ancient Greece is still remembered now a days.Though the war was raged back thousands of years ago yet the blood spilt on the sand,the thousand mouthless dead still remembered yet the story could not depict the shear horror and violence of the war in the cryptic words of the mighty homer and well he wrote with no structure such as refined by the English language.So the better display a more understandable story,I look to my fellow writers on this forum with this task.
I offer a chance to make a person that some how particapated in this war,weither a warrior on either army or some other sort of person during the time Era.For those who don't know about the time Era,it is during Ancient Greece.The Grand king of Greece is a man known as Agamemnon who united the different tribes of Greece and after a long campeign owns the whole of the Greek main land and isles.With a massive army at his back,with leaders such as the great Odysseus Agamemnon owns almost all of the Aegan sea yet one city stands in his way: Priam's city of Troy also known as Ilium.During this era,Agamemnon's brother Menelaus had a beautiful wife known as Helen(known as Helen of Troy) who was rumored to be the daughter of Zeus: Son of Cronus,the King of Gods.Paris: one of the sons of Priam,who was the most handsome man in all of the world took Helen away from Menelaus angering the king of Sparta.Appealing to Agamemnon,asking for his brother's help in the war,Agamenon rallies all the kings of Greece to make the greatest of all forces to meet Hector the other son of Priam who commands the army of Troy said to be the finest in the east.Using Odysseus to bring Achilles into the war,Achilles the greatest warrior Greece has ever seen and leader of the Myrmidons.Taking over the beaches of Troy,the ships of the Greeks also known as the Agrives dig and and began a war.The high walls of Troy are to good though and with the greatest archers in the land,The greeks are pushed back and thus are story begans with the opening of the war.
Looking for all sorts of people,Men and Women to join in and try to make your own characters please,I would prefer if we didnt have people playing as already existing characters,that way not one preson is really overly powerful(like the person playing Achilles would be
).Well post some ideas for characters and some other things.
P.S. I don't want a hundred people posting on this thread to correct me about some facts I messed up,I just put a rough understandable version of this story and not to complicated.
