Bill Anderson was seemingly living the life of his dreams. He was happily married to the woman of his dreams, Melissa. He had his dream job, teaching at Hampton High School, and coaching the basketball team there. He could not complain about his life. Melissa, his wife, had a job as an accountant at a local business firm, both Bill and Melissa worked often, but they always found time for each other.
As summer vacation started, Melissa needed a favor from Bill. Melissa's younger sister needed a place to stay. Bill was not thrilled with the idea, sure their house was big enough, but summer was his time to relax, and Melissa's sister was not the person he envisioned spending time with. Melissa's little sister was a bit of a wild girl. She just graduated from college and had moved in with her boyfriend at the time. However, as Melissa told Bill, the relationship did not last long. Melissa told him that her sister had been sleeping around and got caught. Now she needed a place to stay until she could land on her feet.
"Sweetie..... does she have to stay here? She can't move back in with your parents," he said looking at his wife with concern. Melissa smiled at him, "It will just be for a little bit, and I think it will do her some good to stay with us sweetie.... she can see how a real relationship works, and maybe she will grow up a bit."
Bill had his doubts, and as the day came closer, he figured it could not hurt. He had only met Melissa's sister a few times, and most in passing. She was at Bill and Melissa's wedding, but she did not stay very long. It would be an interesting summer, but Bill would do anything to make Melissa happy.
The day of the move in came, it was a Sunday. Bill had just finished setting up the guestroom upstairs for Melissa's sister. He wanted her to stay in the basement, but Melissa would not have it. Instead she would be staying in the guest room upstairs, right down the hall from Bill and Melissa. As the doorbell rang, Bill sighed. He knew Melissa would rush to get the door, and he headed down the stairs, knowing he would be needed to help carry some bags.
