Assuming that President Biden will have succeeded in getting a successor to Justice Stephen Breyer seated before the Court hears the case, we can expect a strongly worded 6–3 decision insisting on “color blindness” in admissions, full stop.

------------

Those who advocate affirmative action reveal a private agreement with Charles Murray and others that the average Negro is less intelligent than the average white person, and even less intelligent than the average Oriental.

Even if we assume, which I do not, that the enduring race gap is caused by different environments, I have one question: So what?

If I want something performed well that requires superior intelligence, I do not care if the person assigned to do it lost one of his grandfathers to a lynch mob, and if he was periodically beaten up by boy friends of his crack addicted welfare mother. I want it done well.

Those who tell us that affirmative action is necessary to achieve diversity should be asked one question: What is so great about diversity?

I like diversity, but only if it is voluntary and based on merit. I like dining in ethnic restaurants, shopping at ethnic stores, attending ethnic festivals, and so on. Those who do not enjoy that should not be pressured to experience it.

Many of the employees of our most successful corporations, like Microsoft, speak English as a second language, but they speak it fluently. They were not the beneficiaries of outreach efforts to achieve a work force that "looks like America." They were hired because Microsoft and similar corporations higher the best managers and professionals in the world.

Affirmative action means lowering objective standards of excellence on behalf of politically favored minorities. There is no reason to believe that blacks have academic abilities, not measured by mental aptitude tests, that nevertheless enable them to perform well academically. I have read that when SAT and ACT scores are equal, Negroes still tend to perform less well than whites and Orientals.

Although colleges and universities choose to have affirmative action programs, employers are usually pressured to have them. If affirmative action comes to an end a large number of Negroes will probably be fired from their jobs and replaced with whites and Orientals who can perform the work well.

I do not make generalizations like that. There are a few Negroes who can perform intellectual tasks better than most whites, but these are exceptional.

It's fun that your response actually confirms my statement and you think it refutes it

Sure ya don't 👍

This is an example of the Straw Man Fallacy. In the Straw Man Fallacy one distorts the argument of an opponent in order to make it easy to refute.

By resorting to insults, name calling, and logical fallacies you demonstrate that you cannot refute my arguments. Consequently you confirm them.

Yes, you don't generalize....except that you believe the majority can't do the same jobs...which isn't generalizing at all because of a couple of exceptions 🤣🤣

You may want to research the word sometime
