Ideas/Suggestions

Another idea Miss Taken and I have been discussing is having a permanent thread for ideas/suggestions posters may have to contribute to the flavour, format, direction of both BDSM Talk and Cafe. Maybe it is the Social Worker in both of us coming to the fore but it seems to make sense that as this is viewed by most as a community, and one it seems where most feel part of and wish to postively contribute to, that we trial a way which enables input from everyone. It may have the added benefit of relieving some of the pressures sometimes experienced when present frustrations with content etc., spill over into unrelated threads.

We are not encouraging this as a venting place as such, but an offering of suggestions which can be discussed and adopted if met with positive feedback as a way of making our community more user friendly. For now we welcome both suggestions/ideas as well as peoples view of whether they see value in this becoming a sticky type permanent thread, or just a thread in the forum which moves according to postings?

I wouldn't make it a sticky right away. See if it will float on its own merit. And your options to change the course are somewhat limited. If someone wants more threads on breath play they should bump them up.

I'd like to see a hot list system like bondage.com. But that is beyond the scope of a mod to change.

LOL, seem to be but I am one who likes everyone to have input if they wish and tend to think sometimes more heads are better than one or two who might miss something obvious and great. Also as it is a community minded board for all, I thought it good if all could have a place to offer their ideas for consideration.
