"Behind every great man is a great woman ?

Nicolas Sarkozy, the Mayor of Neuilly- born on 28 January 1955
Nicolas Sarkozy marries Marie-Dominique Culioli, 1982. Marie-Dominique's friend Cécilia, marries Jacques Martin in 1984.
1988, Nicolas and Cécilia affair is exposed. Cécilia's divorce came through in 1989. "It was eight years before the divorce
was finally granted in 1996, during which time Marie-Dominique had battled with breast cancer." 1996, Cécilia gets pregnant,
Sarkozy marries Cécilia. 2005 Cecilia had an affair with PR executive Richard Attias -- a 49 year-old Moroccan. Cécilia moved
to New York and Sarkozy eventually wooed Cécilia back, although not before he had an affair with a young political journalist
from Le Figaro. 2007 Cécilia's absences during important functions, causes a stir. 2007 formal separation, followed by divorce.
Sarkozy dates Carla Bruni after his election victory of 2007 and they marry in 2008. Carla Bruni had supported Sarkozy's rival
for the presidency, female Socialist candidate Ségolène Royal. 2011 Carla Bruni gets pregnant, gives birth. Jewish, Hungarian,
Greek- Sarkozy and his Italian wife, Carla Bruni get rejected by the people of France. President "Bling- Bling" Sarkozy is gone.

"According to Le Canard, the real reason for Bruni's ban (from the Vatican) is because the Vatican does not want coverage
of Sarkozy's trip to be illustrated in the Italian press with pictures of the Pope juxtaposed with older, saucier pictures of
Bruni, who made her name as a model. Pictures like the one above, perhaps."

2012 President of France-

30 years of marriage, ends

François Hollande was still with his former partner and fellow Socialist Ségolène Royal until mid-2007, when Royal faced off against
Nicolas Sarkozy in the second round of the presidential election. The couple, who have four children together, said that they chose
not to disclose their break-up until after the election, which Royal lost. June 2007, just a month after Royal's defeat in the French
presidential election of 2007, the couple announced that they were separating.

In reality, Hollande had already begun a relationship with Trierweiler in 2006.

2012 New First Lady- Valérie Trierweiler

Trierweiler is a well-known political journalist in France: she has worked for weekly magazine Paris Match since 1989, and TV channel
Direct 8 since 2005. Twice divorced with three children, the 47-year-old from west France has been in a relationship with Socialist
candidate François Hollande since 2006, but they only publicly acknowledged their relationship in 2010.

"Hollande and Trierweiler remain coy about their status as an unmarried couple in a world where wedlock is so entrenched
that the French duo may make life complicated for those who worry about the protocol of state visits."

the downfall is a great man is when that man falls ill and believes in obama/socialism/democrats

What's the point of this thread? Seriously? So the French Presidents like to screw around. So did the French kings. So did Napoleon. What else is new? FDR was known to have a long-standing affair with Lucy Mercer and Missy LeHand, while Eleanor reportedly had a lesbian affair with Lorena Hickok. So what? It's what these motherfuckers do ON the clock that really screws people in a bad way.

I'd love for them to all get too busy screwing each other to screw us over. Then the country could recover from their sincere stupidity. Nothing worse than do-gooders who will shake you down like loan sharks for "the public welfare". At least the loan shark doesn't con himself into thinking that it is really good that he's doing.

It's time to start over. Tabula rasa....clean or blank slate. Abolish the state, period. I don't blame Sarkozy for screwing around. I blame him for being a statist like the rest of them.

What happens in America, also happens in France. A woman with cancer is abandoned by her husband, for a mistress. Sound familiar?

France is split in half by political division, just like America. Paris is not all of France. Washington is not all of America. The quadrants watch.

Right wing, left wing, moderates, extremists. What do people want from the President they elect? That depends on who each person is?

G.W. Bush did what he always did- made his pals rich and left a horrible mess for someone else to clean up. He made everyone laugh.
(Though, the Democrats and some others were laughing to keep from crying.)

G.W. Bush fulfilled what some people expected of him. They did not want him to be consistent. It was OK if his good ol' boy put- on act
slipped and his voice would suddenly shift from Texas cowboy to crisp, clipped, stern, New England Harvard graduate. He had something
in common with Ronald Reagan. He kept people entertained. He reassured his fans, that life would be the way they wanted it to be.

"Conan! What is best in life?" "To crush your enemies -- See them driven before you, and to hear the lamentation of their women!"
(VS-"to crush your enemies, to see them fall at your feet -- to take their horses and goods and hear the lamentation of their women.")

Who has the power to crush? Who has the power to 'get away with it?" Has anything much changed since the 2007-2008 Crash of Wall Street?

"Throw the bums out!" This cry was heard throughout America. Now Europe shouts it? Obama and François Hollande won because of a thin margin.
