James Fenrir lived alone on a large farm. He'd inherited it from his grandparents, and spent most of his time either fixing it up, or monitoring his finances online. True, he was lonely, but he was too busy to worry about it. He had too much work to do to be concerned with being lonely, and not enough gals interested in him. One day, while he was busy going over his taxes, he heard the doorbell ring. He sighed, and set down his tax forms and pen. Then he stood up, and walked out of his den, across the living room, and to the front door. He opened it slowly, and found himself face to face with a young woman. However, she was odd in a very obvious way.

Fae knew that she was different from the minute she could think for herself. While there were others around her that were somewhat similar to her... she had always felt alone. She was unique, in a way, and it was that special something that somewhat made her an outcast, even among her "friends."

She had moved from one place to another, never really fitting in. Often she would find employ doing menial tasks, but she had always wanted to do something else. At such a tender age she was easily exploited by the wealthy and perverted, and showcased by those who had an affinity for one such as herself... until she ran away from it all. It had been a rather stormy, one night, that she had come face to face with a large wooden door leading to the only house in sight. Wanting to get out of the beastly weather, she had dared to actually knock on it, hoping that it was abandoned and she could spend the night there before moving on. Unfortunately, however, the lights inside and the door opening had shot that hope down, and when a human male answered her knock she almost fell backwards down the steps.

James blinked, looking at the young woman before him. He raised an eyebrow, then looked out at the weather, and shrugged. He stepped away from the door, leaving it open. "Come on in. It's a mess out there, and I wouldn't be much of a humanitarian if I left you out in this weather."

Fae held onto her slightly wet tail as it lay by her leg and she stepped inside. Shyly she came into the enclosed porch, stepping past the human as she felt the warmth of the house press against her. She wasn't dripping wet, but she was pretty soaked. Her dark clothes hung close to her body, and her arms were wrapped around her chest as she struggled to become warm.

"Thank you." she managed to say after a moment.

James smiled, and closed the door. Then he walked into the house, and came back out to her with a big fluffy towel. He handed the towel to her, then opened the door to the inside, and walked in to build up a fire for her to warm up by. He put a few logs on the fire, then motioned her inside. "The fire should dry you up fairly quickly."

Her hands reached out and took hold of the soft towel, wrapping it quickly around her body to soak up some of the rain water. The door closed behind her and the warmth of the house completely took over her. A few drips splattered about her feet, and she quickly looked for a place to stand so she wouldn't get anything wet.

"Sorry about the mess, I'll clean it up." she offered and then let the tower fall to the floor so she could mop it up. Standing up on her legs, no longer dripping water she walked into the living room as the Human had beckoned her forward. The heat of the fire was soothing to her, slowly drying her fur as she sat next to it. Fae had her arms wrapped tightly around her legs as she huddled close to the heat, taking it in.

James smiled, and nodded at her insistence on cleaning up the mess. When she followed him into the living room, he sat down on a chair. "What were you doing out in that storm? Do you want some dry clothes? Food?"

Fae looked up from where was sitting, her eyes glancing at the human male that had sat down in one of his chairs. He had asked her if she wanted any dry clothes or anything to eat. She hadn't dared impose on him but since he had offered she could probably do with something a little less dirty to put on.

"If you don't mind, that would be nice. But I don't want to impose on you, I'll be on my way once the storm passes." she said with a smile as she felt the warmth of the fire spread across her body.

"I was just walking down the road, not too far from here when the weather turned ill. I'm sorry If I've caused you any discomfort, but I didn't know what else to do." she said.

James laughed, then stood up and stretched. Then he walked over to a door, and opened it. He went into the room behind the door, and was gone for several minutes. When he came back out, he held a pair of short shorts and a tube top, along with an oversized tee shirt. "Sorry, these look like the only thing in your size. They're probably my cousin's old stuff, from when she lived here with my grandparents. Still, as long as they fit, right?" He walked over, and set the clothes on the floor near her. "And don't worry about inconveniencing me. This whole farm is an inconvenience, and I still live with it."

Fae had been sitting on the floor next to the warm fire when James came back into the room. Her blue eyes looked at the clothes he had come back outside with, and he set them down next to her. Scrunching her nose, she felt sort of light headed and then sneezed, but away from the human.

"Excuse me," she said in embarrassment, her hands picking up the clothes that he had brought out. Standing to her feet she smiled and bowed politely,

"These are more than fine," she said with a smile. "Um, is there a bathroom or bedroom that I can change in?" she asked him.

James motioned back the way he had come from. "That was my cousin's outfit. Most of her clothes were there to tease the guys, but she did have some other stuff. You might want to blow your nose in her bathroom. It should have toilet paper in it."

Fae nodded her head as she held the crumped clothing in her arms. Walking towards the room she said thank you again before looking around. After stepping in she closed the door a bit and then set the articles of clothing on the bed. The room seemed to be colder than the other areas of the house, and instinctively she rubbed her arms to get warm. There was a mirror on the dresser, a few picture frames and two vases also rested on top. There was a twin size bed towards the wall, a closet, and a desk. She didn't really like snooping around but she couldn't help but look around.

After she had seen enough she crossed her arms across her body and slid her shirt up and off her body. Her large tits were encased in a white push-up bra that closed in the back, and it had also gotten fairly wet so she took that off as well, releasing her breasts as they bounced just a little before coming to a rest. She picked up the button-up shirt and slipped it around her arms, closing it up and buttoning all the way. It was a little loose, but she didn't mind.

She bent over slightly and lifted up her legs to take her pants off, her underwear coming off as well. She grabbed the pajama pants and put them on, tying a knot at the waist. She finally came out into the hallway and glanced around, spotting the bathroom and grabbing some tissue.

James, meanwhile, was making himself busy in the kitchen. He had had some chili on since morning, and it was just about done. He was putting in cheese now, letting it melt in the chili. When that was started, he made some cornbread to go with it, and finally set out a bowl of fruit. Then he poured two glasses of milk, and waited for her. He sat down at the kitchen table, and thought carefully.

Fae blew her nose before discarding the tissue paper, and she hoped that she wasn't going to come down with a cold. That would severely dampen her travel plans. But it'd be better to sit it out than travel in the elements and hope for the best.

Making her way to the living room, her keen nose picked up a pleasant smell, and after passing through the den she found the kitchen with the human sitting at it, the table there set for dinner. She felt her stomach ache and sitting down she smiled.

"I'm sorry for causing any trouble," she apologized again, her eyes glancing off the glass of milk, the bowl, and everything else. She was really really hungry, now.

"Are you expecting someone or is this for me?" she asked, not wanting to presume that the plate set aside was for herself.

James grinned, and motioned for her to sit down. "I always make more than I can eat. Means more leftovers for later. Chili with cheese. Got some cornbread too. Do you prefer yours with or without syrup?" He took a sip from his glass of milk, continuing to watch her. He was silently willing for her to eat, as she looked like she could use it. Besides, he thought, the chili would help keep her from getting a cold. She was quite attractive, he thought. He put his glass of milk down, and started eating some of his own.

"Do I prefer what with syrup?" Fae asked as she looked again at the food before her. She picked up her own glass of milk and quickly drank it down, all of the liquid gone before she even took a bite of food. Wiping her face with a napkin, she looked at the chili and smelled it before deciding it was ok to eat.

"Thank you," she said as she took a bite to eat, the contents on her spoon filling down into her empty stomach. She mostly concentrated on the food, not really lifting her head up until she had finished. When she saw that he was looking at her she felt some color rise to her cheeks, a little embarassed.

James smiled. He motioned to the cornbread when she asked what he was talking about with syrup. "It's cornbread. I usually eat mine with syrup of some kind. Otherwise it's pretty dry. How's the chili?" He continued watching her, studying her reaction. When he saw her blush, he smiled again, and looked away in thought.

"Oh," Fae said with a smile as she picked up her cornbread. The golden bread seemed pretty tasty, so she took a bite and then realized that she should've waited to do that before drinking all of her milk. She couldn't help but chuckle as she held up her empty glass, her mouth full of the bread that she could barely swallow.

James laughed, then stood up again. He walked over to the refrigerator, and got out the milk. He walked back over, and poured some milk into her glass. Then he refilled his glass, and put the milk back in the refrigerator. He walked back over to the table, sat down, and went back to eating his food. Between mouthfuls, he tried to carry on a conversation. "So, what were you doing out in this weather?"

Fae eagerly awaited for her glass to be refilled with cold milk, and when he had poured it she quickly drank her fill. Her throat hurt from trying to swallow the dry bread before, but the milk soothed that pain a little.

"Thank you, I guess I should use some syrup then," she said as she picked up the container and dabbed some of the brown liquid on it. As she was pouring the syrup she began to answer his questions.

"I was just walking down the road, simple as that." she said not taking her eyes off her food. Once she had enough on her bread she picked it up and tried a bite, and this time the food went down a little easier, although she would need some milk too.

James raised an eyebrow, then smiled, and ate his food. The food was some of his best, and he was glad she liked it. At her rather minimal response, he shook his head. "Well, I don't think it was very smart. Still, you might have to stay for a while. I'm James, by the way. I guess in all the excitement, I forgot to introduce myself. And you are?"

Fae managed to swallow a little bit of food, drinking down a portion of her milk before relaxing in her chair, quite content with her fill for the moment.

"My name is Fae, and it doesn't rain like this all the time. Usually I'm able to get out of the storm before it even hits land. Besides I have nothing better to do than walk." she added, her eyes glancing around the kitchen.

"Do you live alone?"

James nodded, listening to her explanation. At her question, he sighed, and nodded again. "Yes, I live alone. I inherited this place. It was my grandparents' farm. It's a good place to live, but it gets a little lonely sometimes. Why were you out in it though? You walking along has to have a reason, right?" He smiled, and turned his attention to her again. "Anyways, you can stay here as long as you want. The door's always open in the country."

"Thank you," she said as she fiddled with her empty glass.

"And you don't have to be so sad, you have a great place to live... I wish I did. But I'm alone in my own way, and that's why I was out walking. I don't have any place to go to, so I just go."

Looking at the clock, she realized it was a little later than she had first thought. Her body was more tired than her mind was, so she figured she would put both to rest and then head off in the morning if the weather allowed.

"Do you have a spare bedroom that I could possibly sleep in for the night? If the weather is permitting I'll head off in the morning." she asked him.

James raised an eyebrow at her statement, then shrugged. He finished off his food, then his milk, and nodded at her question. "You can sleep in my cousin's room if you want. I'm sure she wouldn't mind if she were here. Just remember to make your bed in the morning." He smiled at her, then picked up the dishes, and took them over to the sink. Then he started washing the dishes carefully, cleaning them thoroughly before putting them away.
