The stories, how do you like them to read?

Do you want something that's more storylike? You know, obviously fictional accounts of fictional characters. Would you prefer the diary style accounts? Where it's a first person narrator telling you what happened to them. Do you like second person stories? Where one of the characters is "you," as in "You walked into the room and saw me standing by the window." Do you mind cliched or bad plotlines as long as the sex is good? You know, the ones where they women's measurements are given in the first three sentences and sex begins by sentence four for no viably apparent reason. Is there some other "stereotypical" story that you like or dislike that you've made a category for? What would it be?

We're all eclectic and prefer a variety to a steady diet of a single style of writing. Perhaps which kind of story can you not stand?

I can't stand stories where all the woman have 38HHH breasts and the mens dicks are 16" long (ok I'm jealous), in stories like this the character just walks around and every woman he sees just falls on the floor with thier legs in the air.

The sex isn't the most important part of a story, a good story line and good gramar are the most important, if you build everything on solid foundations then even the most corny and cliche'd sex scenes will work, just as long as they are realistic.

I don't care what the character's measurements are or even what they look like. Over all I prefer "story" stories over diary-type ones or just plain fucking ones. I do like a mild amount of plot...but TOO much set up can leave me bored or make me move on to another story. They are, after all, erotic stories and I read them because they have sex in them. Otherwise I'd just go pick up a book.

lol. I dont think I could have said that even a little better!

I **detest** and will discontinue reading stories that are gratingly bad in terms of the basics of grammar, punctuation, and spelling. The occasional technical error is okay; we're not professional writers (most of us) here.

I tend to get the hell out of stories that begin with a grocery list of physical attributes. (She was gorgeous. Her long blonde hair was like spun gold and her 38C tits were firm under her thin cotton shirt. She had that little upturned nose that cute girls have sometimes and her long legs went on forever. She was 5'2", just a little thing, and had perfect teeth.) ~rolling my eyes~ Give me a fucking break. Less description, please, and more thoughts, feelings, and reasons i should stay in the story and not click out.

Clichés, as a rule, make me click out with an expression of disgust at myself for having gotten sucked into opening the thing in the first place. It's a sign of lazy writing. Why should i stay with a lazy writer when there are so many good ones here?

The BDSM stories (my 1st place reading category) in which the BDSM is just fucking wrong, obviously made up in an attempt to garner votes or for its whack-off value (people... listen... no one ever cums while being whipped to tatters!) make me click out in a hurry, screaming in horrified disgust and/or muttering wildly under my breath.

I like good reasons for people to be fucking. Without that, well, why bother? A big cock is not, by the way, a good-enough reason for someone to jump your bones, even in a story.

And when they actually do begin to fuck (and can we please have something besides fucking or sucking cock?), i want the heat to singe me and make me wet. It takes some really focused writing to do that, quite frankly. I'm sort of jaded by most standards but am very often touched and pleased (to say the least) by the really excellent writing by many of the writers here at Lit.

I shouldn't name names but ..
Nah. Better not. I'd leave someone off and hurt feelings; don't want to do that, don't like to do that, but you Muff darlin', are definitely on my Good Writers list! (Ray Dario, too... and Jigs... and Coltrane... and ...)

I want characters I can actually care whether they have sex or not. If I want Barbie and Ken dolls going through the motions, I'll go borrow some of my granddaughters' toys.

I guess I personally like stories told in a diary fashion. I like to read about the emotions stirred and the effect it has on him/her. Though, sometimes not totally forthcoming.

I guess that I like stories that have an actual story line to them as well as great characters. I know that that sounds like a book but that always gets me wanting to read the story; well the sex does as well (doh) but if there isn't any personality to the characters then I click out even faster than I clicked in.

I like stories that flow. I like stories where the characters aren't described by a series of stats (She was 5'4", 36C, 120 lbs., size 8 shoe...). I like stories that are STORIES. I also like well-described, red-hot sex scenes. ;)

You know who writes really well paced stories? Well, lots of you do, but one guy who I think has a natural story-telling ability is Stardog Champion. His prose is a little rough, and his grammar isn't absolutely perfect, but he knows how to pull you in. A wonderful natural sense of pacing. Check out his stories "Angry Chair" and "Living in Sin" and you'll know what I mean.

I like sex

I like stories that have some backdrop,(all of them need to have it,) but quickly get right to the sex. To much plotline can often bore me,(unless it is an interesting plotline.)

Shasmeless plug

As in "Journal of an Agent 16." I think that's the #. It's the one with Natilie Portman, anyway. That subplot was AWESOME!!!!!!

One of my biggest gripes is story length. Some stories don`t take even 5 minutes to read, while there are those that would literally take hours to read. The former aren`t worth reading and the latter are either mostly story filler or the same crap written over and over. Also, some NC stories just get too violent and sadistic for my taste. I do tend to like certain gangbang stories though.

I agree with this too....

Stories have to be a decent length for me, and be vaguely orginal. Also they have to be realistic! I'm so fed up of strip poker stories, timid wives who suddenly become sex machines, or people that fuck 20 times in one night (ummm...i think my little friend would be struggling after the thirds :D)

BINGO!!!

If a story is more than 2 pages, I move on to the next one. However, the story I mentioned before was 4 pages, but the subplot was AWESOME!!!!
