Walter Lippman was a prominent pundit of the 20s but I find his scribbles to be unintelligible, mostly cuz he packed his essays with multisyllible words. He had profound insights about writing yet couldnt articulate the ideas. I call that sort of concealment VICTORIAN. That is, during Victorias reign people wore too many clothes, creating discomfort and obscurity of the human form. Henry James comes to mind.
 
Hatched a story idea. Its excellent! Its a Western Romance.

The main character is a man named TEX. TEX travels around the Southwest collecting bull semen and inseminating cows until one fine day he arrives at a ranch and erupts in song when love finds him...

jimmybits is a sort of literary version of trysail, with all the copy and pasting.

Sorry... not impressed. If I wanted a vanity thread, i could start one! ;)

Much like the band Rush said about limbaugh, I do not appreciate jbj trying to use me in his vicious little games.

I predict that he will use this thread as a trolling platform-- as you see, he's C&P'd other people's words to try to make fun of another member.

True. But we all know that that's what people with no self-esteem do. They lash out at others, especially those who are different from them, in a desperate attempt to make themselves feel important. It's sad, really.

He's a grown man, and he claims that he was a school psychologist -- he shouldn't need to be codependent on the internet. It's not our job to enable his bad habits.

No, not enable. I've just developed a fondness for poking at him. I didn't mean to upset or offend you. Sometimes my sense of humor gets me in trouble.:(
