Here is the story line....

A guy is trapped in a mirror, for thousands of years. A young woman is working the artifacts department of the university. She opens this box, containing the mirror. A voice from the darkness calls out to her. She drops it and runs. Only to return hours later to bring the mirror to her home. Not knowing why, just knowing it needs to be safe and with her.

The woman is Jessie, short for Jessica ~ check picture below....

The man is scottish, very old and into magics. His name is Julian. I don't have too much an image in mind. Someone strong and has a few tattoo's, is what I'm thinking.

The basic deal is that he wants out and can only be summond for so long before returning to the mirror. He needs Jessie's help to get him to his homeland and this will be thier story.

Looking for Julian....

Post bio here and I will start up an IC thread with an opening. Serious writers only please.

Thanks....

Julian Leary.
His age, before what happened, would be 37. He is strong, lean. With long dark hair and emerald green eyes.

of scottish descent, Julian was part of the celtic society. He was, at one time a druid. He performed in several rituals, a part of ancient ley lines and magicals absorptions of the earth.

Julian craved power though. He broke off from the original sect, forming his own cult. He found new powers, and new spells. He learned powerful scripts, using his loyal followers sometimes as sacrifices.

And then, he found the ultimate power of immortality. He could not refuse its designed kiss. He performed the ritual, the incantations and summoning focuses only to be rewarded by inprisonment.

After that, his followers disbanded. People left him, forgotten were his teachings and his ways. He stayed trapped, for thousands of years. Seconds stretching out like eons in front of him.

That is where he is now. He has a lot of time to think about what he has done, how wrong he was. Now, he only wishes he could live a normal life, get back to the way things were.

Julian sits waiting on the other side of the mirror.

I hope that's something of what you were going for. If not, let me know. I could alter it.

What I had in mind

Couldn't be better had I wrote it myself.

I will write up the first post of the story this morning.

Thanks for joining me

Thank you for having me. I am glad you like it. I always did enjoy this kind of thread. I can not wait to start.

Typed a tad long....

Had this story stuck in my head for awhile now as you can tell...

Took a little liberty and wrote a tad on Julian's side, hope you don't mind ;)

Of course not. Helps me to shape where to go and what to do. I'm glad you're finally getting your story out. Stories like these need to be read and shared, not kept up to yourself.

Why... that's just selfish.

assuming this to be the OOC thread i would like to wish both of you good luck for the thread.
I would love to read it knowing how fantastic writers both of you are
