The Someday Drawings

Now, I don't right remember how to put pictures in the post itself, but here's a little something for this Someday.

And a bit more, just to make a first post more fun.

The first picture is H and B3 pencil followed by scan, levels adjustment and auto tracing with minor corrections. The second is H and B3, scan and just level adjustments.

That last one, le foote, I truly love. A gesture and a solidity of form in just a few cool lines.

I knew you for a fine photographer, but my hat's off again.

Hey, Cant ... thanks!

I'm out of photography for the moment ... my last digital was a source of sheer frustration, so I sold it. But I don't have money to buy the replacement I want ... yet. As for illustration and drawing, times are good ... and I'm actually getting paid to do it.

Maybe once I finish my MA I'll take up as some photographer's apprentice for a spell!

That one's about 3 hours work total ... more or less. I'm doing a similar one today, and I'm going to start running a stopwatch on myself.
