The smells of the stable...

Am I the only person here who finds the scent of horses and the general smells of the stable intoxicating?

Having spent so much of my youth leaping around naked in the hay loft with damn near ALL my neighbors at one time or another in one or another configuration, if I attend an equestrian event of any kind these days I find myself nearly dizzy with lust.

Most of my girlfriends and lovers over the years have shared this intoxication. Just wondering if this was a Mid Atlantic peculiarity?

unfortunately, as romantic as this sounds when I read about it, hay fever and memories of an accidental swan dive from a hayloft to a concrete floor dont leave me any good memories of barns or stables.

Second favourite scent are the stable smells, first being the ocean.

Guess it extends a little further north than mid Atlantic.
