Does anyone still play it? I am looking for a family editor, but just can't seem to find any... There has to be something out there I can cheat with damn it!

That and I think I want to make a mad scientist for my next creation! Woo hoo! Maybe he will be as popular as Llama Man and Flamingo Girl! ...Then again... Maybe not...

I love that game.. haven't played in awhile.. i've uninstalled all of my games off my computer.. getting ready to do some major computer overhaul.. so i'm slowely backing up and deleting/uninstalling crap..

What exactly are looking for?? I have a few "Sims" sites bookmarked.. I'll find them and post them


I found some great wallpapers and floors.. hehehe.. one of my neighborhoods is "slumville".. burning garbage cans.. crappy yards (complete with garbage and holes in the grass)... wholes in the floors and walls... broken furniture.. broken windows.. showers are broke and dirty.. lmao.. the things you find late at night on the net..

The Sims looks like an interesting game.

Does anyone know if there is a demo out there to try. Because although it looks like fun, I like to try before I buy.

Plus I'd like to make sure it'll work on my computer.

Ohio, you could look for a demo on Cnet.com, they might have something there... However, the original should be more than affordable by now.

As far as hacks go, they are hacks, but their primary use is to let you cheat. So why can't you both be right? ...Can't we all just get along? Heheh!

The original is still $39.99 around here. So I don't want to buy it just yet.

Does anyone know if The Sims works on Windows ME? On the system requirements it says 95 & 98, (but not NT) nothing about ME! So will it work for me?

Yes, The Sims runs well on Windows ME. I bought the game when the price dropped, and I've been playing it almost non-stop for two weeks now.
