I couldn't bring myself to fully read all of it for two reasons:

One is -- it's 11:43pm here. I'm a nightowl and I love to read an erotic story or two before bed. Just because. But six pages is a little long for me.

The other is that I'm not a huge fan of Sci-fi/Fantasy but the I will read the odd story every so often.

However! I did read three of the six pages and bookmarked it for tomorrow. It's well-written, interesting and unlike a few readers who have already commented, I am a fan of unbirthing.

Can't give anymore feedback until I read the rest!

And yes. Hard-core fans of your stories would probably have an easy time blowing through six pages but the average reader that's curious to see what it's all about might not take the time to read it if they see that. I know I've either closed out of a story or had to bookmark it for later plenty of times because of that reason alone.

I look forward to reading the next (and hopefully shorter) chapter.

Don't think I've ever read anything over 3 pages without already being a fan of the author, and even if I am, it's rare that I'll read that much in one sitting, so shorter may help you along.

Working on the assumption of 3500 per Lit page, that's a fair slab of prose there. Even if it just tips onto page 6 (I don't know, haven't looked), that's still around 18000 words. That's almost a novella in itself and it's only the first chapter. A bit daunting.

Ah okay, well chapter 2 is smaller. There are 6 chapters in this segment and there's a LOT of story to go after that.
