This thread is to log the multitude of nearly daily mass shootings. For this thread, the qualifier is more than two victims, generally in public at random, schools, workplaces, etc. Log them here, one post per incident. Take the discussion to other threads.

Count so far is something like 40 in 24 days.

A gunman is at large after he allegedly shot and killed three people at a Circle K convenience store and gas station in Yakima, Washington.

yesterday:
The San Mateo County Sheriff's Office said deputies responded to a shooting in a mushroom farm in the 12700 block of San Mateo Road in unincorporated San Mateo County just after 2:20 p.m., when they found four people dead from gunshot wounds.

A fifth victim was taken to the Stanford Medical Center with life-threatening injuries. A short time later, deputies responded to the 2100 block of Cabrillo Highway South near the Rice Trucking Soil Farm, where they found three more deceased victims.
The suspected gunman turned himself in at a sheriff's substation. He was identified as 67-year-old Zhao Chunli, a Half Moon Bay resident. A weapon believed to have been used in the shootings was found in his vehicle, authorities said.

At least three people were killed early Tuesday in a “random” shooting at a convenience store in Yakima, Washington, and a search for a suspect is ongoing, police said.

Yakima Police Chief Matt Murray said during a news briefing the shooting occurred about 3:30 a.m. at a Circle K at Nob Hill Boulevard and South 18th Street.

“It appears to be a random situation. There was no apparent conflict between the parties. The male just walked in and started shooting,” the chief said.

I am curious how long it will take to report a woman shooter in this thread.

Deep thoughts by Jack Handey.

where is the archives were the thugs stab people???? beat up people????

The common denominator is the the people committing the crime not the instrument of crime look at timothy McVeigh

"Timothy McVeigh parked a rented Ryder truck in front of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in downtown Oklahoma City.

He was about to commit mass murder.

You sound upset....

You sound upset....
No I'm not upset I'm just pointing out that 10 more times more people are beat up than shot but that doesn't fit the "ANTIGUN" narrative it needs to be "ANTI CRIME".

Criminal's will criminal, they will continue until the consequence's out weigh their respect for their own life.

and yes I'm armed 80% of the time because when someone threatens my family I cant carry a cop in my pocket.

Beat up people usually live, gunshot people usually die. See the difference?

BTW I never bought in an anti gun narrative, so why do you?

I guess this made sense when you wrote it....

You could have just answered, "yes I am scared" no need to brag about your fear. BTW and i ask this honestly, when was the last time you or your family was threatened with violence?

Speaking of...

https://thehill.com/homenews/state-watch/3836789-florida-mass-shooting-leaves-10-injured/

Florida police are investigating a shooting that left 10 people injured Monday afternoon.

Investigators said the shooting happened around 3:43 p.m. in the city of Lakeland, which lies about 35 miles east of Tampa.

According to Taylor, a dark-colored Nissan four-door pulled up to the scene and four male shooters started firing from both sides of the car.

Time to add another one to the list.
