The Serial Killer

You want a cool club name....

I always thought O'Mally's was a cool name for a club.

I went to a club in Germany called Das Klo (The Toilet). Interesting decor, to say the least.

As far as naming something like "The Serial Killer," I've seen worse:

Body Count (in what was once a hospital)
Hump Me Harry (or was it Hump Me Hairy?)
The Stained Cock (So. Carolina/Georgia state line. I believe the reference was to the Gamecocks)
Kill Zone (apparently, at some point in the late nineties, to "kill" someone was a good thing)
Slick Willie's (don't ask me why, but I kind'a liked that one . . . :p )

I could see The Serial Killer being a street name for an underground, members-only, drug/sex/whatever club, but not something with its name in flashy neon next to a major highway.

Head to Boston there's an "O something" every other block and I am fairly certain more than one Kelly's something or other. Few in RI as well.

Tampa has a biker bar called HOG HEAVEN.

About ten years ago when I decided I'd had one too many close calls on my bike and was going to sell, me and four friends rode from RI down to Florida. We went into a couple of biker bars around Fort Lauderdale

I'd never been before and for some reason thought FL was a decent area.

Maybe parts are nice, but man what a pit!

There is a club, Serial Killer in Japan and it is themed. The staff are the killers and anyone who walks into the club are the victims, must wear guro-style (blood spatter and gore) attire.

Japan never surprises me anymore. Beautiful country though, trees and such.

Florida was paradise till about 1968. I came home from Vietnam in 1969, and the whole state was a used sanitary napkin.

Chicago...a tavern in every neighborhood...all Irish owned.

Imagine a block in Chicago, houses line the streets, a nice residential neighborhood and smack dab in the middle of the block...a tavern called O'Mally's. Kids playing outside on the sidewalk, while mom and dad slosh down a afternoon drink. Beautiful place, O'Mally's.

No, if I eventually write again, I couldn't possibly speculate on the category. What happens, happens.

I was kidding. Me telling you write a vamp story, or any story, would be like you telling me to write the great American novel. It isn't going to happen.

Well I did write one Vamp story, and actually you do have all the skill and talent to write the next great American novel. Let's not forget your a better writer than me by far, and most others on here as well. Your editing proves that.

I liked your vamp story and would like to see some sequels. Kind of you to say so, but a writer writes, and I haven't written much yet. It's easier for me to edit. It takes less concentration, for one. Got to get to work. Catch you later. :)
