There wasn't much fanfare when it came to the debate team, actually there wasn't any. It wasn't like the football team where you had a roaring crowd, and cheerleaders on the side adding to the fun and excitement. No, the senior debate team of Ridgemont High consisted of 5 students. The debate team wasn't exactly known for winning any championships, which wasn't to say that the five students were inept, more that they figured each win meant a longer life cycle. You win one debate, and its off to another championship. For the five students it was more about a free weekend trip, that and they'd get some casual time with one of their teachers who always chaperoned the trips.
All five of the students were over the age of eighteen, each from a different walk of life, or at least as different as you can get at the age of eighteen. There was Mark Perry who was the leader of the debate team. Mark came from a high income family, and while he could have done the whole football thing, given the fact that his future was already made thanks to his parents, he didn't feel the need to exert himself further. He had a good life, a nice car, even a cheerleader for a girlfriend. Both Jake Stanton and Tom Cliff were from middle class families, the two were actually life long friends that had grown up together. Mike Walker was an only child of a low income family, and Trevor was the only African American in the group who came from a middle class family.
They'd been a part of the debate team for a few months, during which the five of them had become relatively good friends, and the fact that they spent a great deal of time with the teacher they'd formed more of a casual relationship with her as well. Ms. Harrison was a woman who was on the verge of her 30s, and even though there was an age gap between her and the student, all seemed to get along very well. It also didn't hurt that Ms. Harrison was quite the looker. Most in their group kept their desires hidden, however Mark and Trevor would never waste an opportunity to teasingly hit on her. Of course it was all in good fun, and while they got crude every so often as teenagers liked to do, no real line was ever really crossed.
Ms. Harrison had often said how she thought the boys were smart enough to go all the way through to the grand championship, though the biggest issue was motivation and drive, at least that is what she'd stress over and over again. There was on debate coming up, which was honestly nothing out of the ordinary. It was at a school that was a few hours drive, which had made it a weekend event. They'd driven over Saturday morning, get settled in the designated hotel rooms, after which they'd have the afternoon to themselves until the debate that would have taken place early in the evening. After which the group would retire back to their hotel rooms, the drive home happening Sunday morning.
As per usual they'd driven up, and since they'd made it to the hotel even before noon the group had plenty of time to spare. They decided to hit the local mall for lunch, after which they were just browsing the stores as they passed the time. The chatter moved along back and forth as it usually did. Things however took an interesting turn when they got to a Victoria's Secret. Now while none of the boys were virgins, at that point in time Mark was the only one who actually had a girlfriend, and as such he decided to pick out a few times of clothing for her. The group of course followed behind with Ms. Harrison doing some browsing of her own, though it didn't look as if she was going to buy anything, at least not while on a school trip with a pack of teenagers.
It was at that point that Trevor suggested Ms. Harrison could easily motivate the group if she actually gave them an incentive to do better. Jokingly Ms. Harrison had retorted with there wasn't enough motivation on earth to get the lot going. The banter went back and forth for a few rounds before Trevor flat out made the comment that if she were to showcase some lingerie for them it would easily be more than enough to motivate the group to actually win a debate for once. Of course Ms. Harrison was quick to retort she wasn't about to give the boys a peep show only to have the group flake out when it came to the debate. So... Trevor made the stipulation that she'd only have to follow through if they won the debate. The condition being that they'd have to wear the article of lingerie that they picked out for the rest of the evening. Now Ms. Harrison had been through debate after debate with the group, and never had they won, so at the end of the day she figured she was doing nothing more than humoring the group. Even when the boys picked out a skimpy thong and nothing else she agreed to parade around in it if, and ONLY if they won the debate that was coming up that evening.
Even though the bet had been made in a lighthearted manner, the reality was something that hadn't been overlooked by the group of teens. They knew it was a once in a lifetime opportunity. Not only did they plan to win, but force Ms. Harrison to go through with their bet. Even when the boys seemed to get serious Ms. Harrison didn't seem worried in the least. Mark was the one who purchased the thong, after which the rest of the mall trip was uneventful.
They'd booked two rooms at the hotel. One was for Ms. Harrison, and the other was for the five boys to share. Once they returned to the hotel the boys retreated to their room where they started to practice for the debate, something they'd rarely done. The boys were hopefully and confident in their own abilities, however they still weren't sure which way the wind would blow. They had too much riding to lose, and even though the the most they'd get was having their teacher parade around in nothing but a thong, to a group of horny 18 year olds that was more than a prize worth having. The drive to the school hall was relatively quiet with neither of the boys saying much one way or the other, though it was very clear that the bet was in the forefront of their minds.
There was a very small crowed that had showed up for the debate. Only the first two rows of the hall were filled, though that was also expected. When the debate itself started the boys were at the top of their game. Even at the half way it seemed that Ridgemont High would be the winner. Surely enough when the debate was done, and the judges had come to an agreement, it was indeed Ridgemont High that had been announced the victors! The boys were all ecstatic, and while the thrill of the victory was great, what they were really focused on was what was to come. The group had mingled with the other team, as well as talked with some of the other students, as well as the judges before it was time to disband. The entire time each of the students had exchanged a knowing look with Ms. Harrison at least once, and whenever they had a moment of privacy, or saw her alone they'd comment on just how excited they were about seeing her go through with the bet. Trevor had even pulled her aside at one point and whispered into her ear that their future debates would be a lot more fun! Of course soon enough the event itself was over and it came time to disband and return to the hotel.
