Harvey Nash, newly elected U.S. Senator from Tennessee, Democrat, accused by many of being a "limousine liberal," of course. 46 years of age. Single. A rising star in what's left of the Democratic Party in the South. Pro-gun, pro-choice, pro-gay, it was the first position, anathema to many of his fellow progressives, that helped him get elected. Former divorce attorney. Former superior court judge. One-time Assistant District Attorney before going into private practice. White, male, on the surface a typical "good ol' boy." Also a notorious womanizer, twice divorced due to the womanizing, who more than held his own in protecting his assets.
Now, he is looking to push for the next stage of his career: the Presidency. Only thing is, he needs a First Lady, one willing to look the other way and ignore his indiscretions. One willing to smile for the cameras. One willing to accept a pre-nup that protects his considerable fortune while still making her rich. Where to turn? She has to be moderately feminist without being a man-hater or threatening to male voters (no Hillary effect, if you will), certainly not so feminist that she would try to boss him around. He's not exactly a submissive. Bisexual would be a plus, because if she took a lot of her lovers among women, she'd be less likely to get knocked up.
Where to turn, who to seek out? Younger than him would be ideal, so she can give him children, but not so old as to make him seem a cradle robber to the more puritanical and prudish folks in either party. Certainly not so young as to leave him open to Republican attacks on his "low morals" or other such bullshit. Personally, Nash wouldn't have enough in common with a woman who was too young, anyway. He'd like to have some shared hobbies and tastes with her, anyway.

Basically, Harvey's being practical and holding "job interviews" for possible wives. He's not going to repeated his past mistakes with women, but he does need a First Lady with class, taste, and a good grip on her jealousy.
