The secret of elven Magic (closed for now)

Height: 6'5", normal to thin figure

Logan is a young magician who tried to learn everything about magic he could. But he couldn't find a real powerfull human teacher to teach him more than he allready knows and so he made his way to the heartwood forest where the elves live. There he hopes to find a deeper knowledge about magic, even though he knows that elves tend to stay aloft of humans.

Logan had another look at his fireplave to make sure everything was set up right. He knew that the elves liked the natur that much that they hated all pollution of their forests. He hoped that his precautions would be enought, but he needed the warm meal, besides after 3 weeks in this forest he just hoped to call their attention to him in any kind possible. He ignited the stacked wood with a snap of his fingers and put the rabbit he caught over the blazing flames and started turn it slowly.

He looked around for the 5th time now. Somehow he could not shake the feeling that he was watched.

"Are you allright? Did you hurt yourself?"

Logan felt a very dry lump build in his throat so he cleared it before he spoke.

"My name is Logan, I'm a mage and I would like to know more about elven magic. All the human mages couldn't teach me any new stuff so I was hoping to find someone to teach me from your people."

He motioned to fireplace.

"I hope I didn't offend anyone with my fire, but I need to eat."

He sat down and offered her a place beside him.

"Care to join me?"

His voice indicated that he was expecting her to tell himn her name.

Im Melody she said as she took a place next to him, their knees slighty touching. Im an elven princess so i'd be happy to teach you some magic

Logan gets more and more excited.

Finaly I will learn real magic. he thinks.

"Really? That would be great. When do we start? Do you have a library where you keep your spells? Can we go right now?"

Realizing that he is babbling he puts on a sly grin and starts to calm down slowly.

I have to take this slow, I don't want to scare her off right away.

"Sorry, I'm just so anxious to learn more about magic."

He takes a peek at the fire and pulls his robes a little closer about him, since the night starts to get cooler.

"So what kind of magic were you thinking of starting with then?" Melody asked Logan. "Wanna start with the basics?"

Logan took another good long look at the beautifull elven girl infront of him.

Must be my lucky day he thought. Finaly someone will show me some elven magic and it doesn't hurt that she is easy on the eyes too.

"Yes," he said. "The basics would be fine. I don't know how much the stuff I learned from the human mages is helping but as soon as something TOO familiar comes along I will tell you."

He takes another look at the fire and startes to wonder if she will start the lesson here in the open with the cold of the night slowly creeping into his robes.

"I wish we didnt have to pratice out here in the cold." she said as he nodded in agreement."Well thats that then, we will pratice you you will be the best mage ever!" she said smiling gently at him. "But wher i come from we seal deals with a small kiss. it's your choice, cheek or lips"God she hoped he went for lips.

Logan nearly fell over. He never head heard that the elves did seal an agreement with a kiss, but not many elves got out of the forest and their customs wheren't that well know out of their homeland.

Of course he would like to plant his lips on hers, she was more than beautifull but perhaps this was a test. What should he do? A small kiss on the cheek should seal the deal and he would be on the save side...

...but a kiss on the lips would show how much he wanted to learn magic.

He bend forward.

"So lets seal the deal."

She expected it to be a quick peck but when he didnt pull away neither did she. But this was wrong, he was a mortal and she was a princess, an elven princess. Still dazed from the kiss that lasted much longer than he expected Logan took a deep breath and looked Melody deep in the eyes.

"Uhm, I have nowhere to go and nothing else to do, so anything you suggest is fine by me."

The wish to learn Magic suddently wasn't that important to him anymore. He hoped against all hope that the signals he was getting from the beautifull elven girl where true and not a figment of his imagination.

He knew that the elven royal family didn't condone relationships between elven and humans but he was getting to the point where he didn't care.

"i would invite you back to mine but you might be seen." said Melody "We'll pratice here but in a nice shelter"
and with one filck of her wand and whispered magic a house appeared. Although the word house could be used loosely here, cus what it really was was a simple shack although it was quite large. But once they had stepped inside it just looked plain, nothing what logan expected a elven princess to even know what it was let alone step foot in it." i know what you're thinking" Melody said quietly to Logan" why would a princess even want to be in sucha closed shack. Well the simple answer being that passers-by would just assume that it was a mortals shack and that nothing extraordinary was going on inside."
The small shack had a one simple cupboard, a table, chairs sofa, fireplace and kitchen area. walking through the house logan saw behind a small curtain that there was a bedroom with a small single bed and a dresser.
"would you like to stay here while we do our lessons?"Melody asked Logan "at least this way i know where you are if i ever need to find you for what ever reason" Melody winked at this point forgetting all about magic of the supernatural kind and just wanting him more than she had even wanted anyone in her life. Even the handsome elven princes didnt compare to this mortal.

Logan gazed in wonder on the house this elven princess had created with just the flick of her wand. This was by far better then everything he had ever seen from a human. He was certain now that this was the right place to learn all about magic and sorcery.
He walked around the house, had a good look at everything and listend to her explanation why this house was so "simple".

"would you like to stay here while we do our lessons?"Melody asked Logan "at least this way i know where you are if i ever need to find you for what ever reason" The tone of her voice and the look she gave him suggested so much more or was he imagine that?

He grin at her sheepishly and pointed his wand in the direction the fireplace and a the logs in there start to burst into flames, filling the house with the warmth and the flickering glow of the fire. Then he sat down on the bed and tested it's firmess .

"This place is great, it's much better than much of the inns I stayed at the way here." He looked her deep in the eyes. Was this the time to get bold? "And the present company is much more beautifull then anything I have seen in my life.

Again he wondered if magic was all there was to learn from this elven princess.

Melody blushed slightly at his comment and she felt it right down to her toes.
"thank you" she said as she walked over to the bed and sat next to him
