Does anyone know if we can do a boolean AND search with this search engine?

I'm pretty sure that if I just put two words into the search engine with a space between them it will treat it as a boolean OR (i.e. it will search for threads in which either word was mentioned).

Can I do a boolean AND search?

What is a boolean?

Boolean is a logic term referring to AND, OR, NOT and a few other terms.

If A is True and B is False than A AND B is False, but A OR B is True.

And so on.

Lit wont let you search for 3 letter words.

I dunno why,its hard for when you are searching for the threads that mention a bra.

yaa its a pain, its just the way jelsoft made vB not a limit that lit set.

I think that if yousearch for "sexy girl" instead of sexy girl that it will only find where they are together.

That seems to be a pretty standard feature of most search engines.

Let us know if it works, Sexy Girl, but I do know it still won't let you use 3-letter words, even if they're part of a 2-word phrase.

There are things I wish the search engine did. And it does seem to be flakey sometimes. Sometimes it finds threads, sometimes it doesn't. Never quite sure why.

However - it wasn't all that long ago (or maybe it was) that the search engine was completely broken. Man, that sucked. So I'm just happy it does what it does!
