I cannot tell if you are actually reading other people's posts or not.

For the gazillionth time; a view, as logged by lit's software is not a sale. There are myriad ways that a view will show up, and not as many of them have to do with actual readers as you seem to think. Perhaps you've heard of spiders and bots, perhaps not-- I suggest you google for information on them if you haven't.

As for your thousands of votes I do not attribute them to your chosen category--I simply do not believe in them at all. If you were that popular a writer, I can assure you your name would be out there in the net. But it ain't. No one talks about you except yourself. No one has mentioned you in any other forums, no one has talked about you on a blog. And incest fans have blogs, and forums.
28 results out of 1,570,000 Not too impressive.

Scouries (and I know you have ignored other people's advice on this subject), you are a self-aggrandising little man. Don't expect praise.
You are disrespectful. Don't expect respect.
You speechify. Don't expect conversation.
Bravo!!!!!

Amazingly enough, I checked out my own votes, views, etc today. I've written two incest stories, both of which have over 500 votes. If they ever reach 999 votes, I will pull them. I get more than enough votes, comments, etc, from real fans that enjoy my work. I write what I feel like writing and most of the time, my readers are eager to read it and write asking for more. I don't keep track of votes or little red h's. I don't have time. I keep track of things that are more important, my fans who write or comment. They mean more than votes.

So Scouries, blow your own horn, you're rants are growing very tiresome and redundant. We know where you rank, number one in your mind and yours alone.

Oh and a :nana: . Try shoving that up your ass.

Oh girls!!! this bizarre preoccupation with penis shaped foodstuffs is …why don't you

100,000 clicks on a story in 7 months. No wonder he has no time to write.

1500 votes. I wonder how many of the 6000 that he lost from sweeps came from this one. Time for a new bot and script there old son.

The displaced personality thing is a trifle worrisome. I mean, he keeps pretending to be a blow-up doll... You think his neighbours know?

Hi texy, it’s your friend Gabby again,

Yes 100,000 views are nice in such a short time but of course that wasn’t his most popular story this year. In fact five others have had higher sales numbers in 2007.

As to the votes maybe you didn’t understand the post – the 1520 VOTE received figure was a net figure after taking away the swept votes. The story actually has received 1739 votes before Manu the Magnificent so cruelly orphaned 219.

And I must say your more recent posts look much more attractive without your banana flopping about – thanks. Sometimes it’s better to leave a banana concealed until the lights are turned down.

Be good,

You’re still one of my favorites, Gabby

p.s. here’s one of mr. tex’s best lines, he’s such a card: Sounds more like one of Scouries airheaded female characters....... I think she was in chapter 2 of "Daddy, I croaked…

Speaking of airheads.

Like I said you need to rewrite your vote script and quit wasting everyones time with inane and idiotic lists.

PS: Anytime you want to throw down in a battle of incest stories, I am ready, willing, and able to write. Say the word.

LOL This is so much fun. If it ever gets off the ground, I'm even willing to translate my one and only incest story.
Or would that be cheating? It's already award winning.

It wouldn't matter. This is scouries' imaginary world. If you outscored him ( likely, considering the crap he writes. Both of mine outscore his pretty much across the board ), received more PCs ( difficult when he manufactures so many of his own on a regular basis ), more votes ( difficult when he manufactures so many of his own on a regular basis ), more views ( impossible when he spends all day increasing that stat, since it's the only one he can truly count on always increasing because there aren't any sweeps or thought required to pump them up ) or anything else, he'd just find some other way to declare himself the winner.

In scouries' land of make-believe, he's the sock-puppet king, and he just changes the rules any time they don't proclaim him the lord of all he surveys.

Or rather, he tries to. Unfortunately, the powers that be seem to share the opinion most of us have - that he's out of his tiny little mind and has about as much talent as your average boy band.

I've challenged him to a write-off several times. He has selective reading skills: anything that might upset the reality he has carefully crafted for himself is simply ignored.

Accepting a challenge would be suicide for his ego. One of my incest stories outscores 39 of his, and the other outscores 41. Only two of his beat me by .01.

He already knows he can't stand up against someone mediocre like me, even in his preferred category. Taking up a challenge against someone who's actually talented or writing in any other category would be like walking through Harlem in a Klan costume for him.

He gets through the day by sticking his fingers in his ears and humming every time somebody sticks reality in his face.

He must do a lot of humming, because he gets beat with the reality stick on a regular basis :p

Actually, such a challenge here is a nonstarter on the basis of the very nature of the challenge. (We've been around this mulberry bush before.) Everyone posting here who has actually read Scouries's stories (other than Scouries's multiple alts) has already made clear they would vote against Scouries's stories simply because of who wrote them. A challenge to a popular vote contest here is just a silly trap. When I was similarly challenged (for no reason that involved comparative writing skills at all--rather as part of the "group" isolation technique here), those loving to raise such challenges here lost interest when I pointed out that the contest would have to be a fair one--the judging would have to be done by independent judges judging the stories blindly. Who here can claim to be objective on the subject of Scouries--either the posting personality or the stories?

Laying a mob rule challenge down isn't any more noble than Scouries's skewing of the meaning of "lists." This silly challenge idea is as much a meaningless entrapment ploy as Scouries plays with his/her games.

This isn't a question of reality. If you'd prefer that Scouries stop playing her/his silly games, you might stop playing yours. (However you're all having a ball playing the game just as it's being played by both sides, aren't you? I certainly enjoy watching it.)

True, but it would take a lot of work to counter the natural votes in the incest category. I doubt those readers vote any more often than anyone else, but there are a lot of them, and that ratio creates a lot of votes even if 1 in 100 actually clicks the button.

If he actually has the vast ability and readership he claims, it should be quite simple to overrule any vindictive low votes, just as low votes from his masses ( even if unsolicited ) should counter any cheerleader votes for the challenger.

If - on the other hand - he's full of shit, he'll get tromped by anyone who can half-assed write.

The same really doesn't apply in most other categories, because the number of natural votes is generally too low. But when you deal with incest ( and perhaps loving wives ) you're talking about so many natural votes that manipulation would be a full time job and require quite some time to accomplish.

As scouries proves readily.

Scouries isn't going to "go away" if everybody ignores him. That simply doesn't work with some asshats, and he's one of them.

In that case, you bat him around like a half-dead rodent for the entertainment value. Every village needs an idiot.

Granted. But this "challenge you to a writing contest on Lit." ploy is just a bunch of crap. This would be a contest of "my friends/alts" against whatever friends/alts you can muster on the basis of posting personalities--it would have nothing to do with storywriting ability. Let's just leave the story section of the Web site out of th forum games--it only cheapens what is the centerpiece of this Web site by idiotic irrelevance.

a challenge for you mr pilot...

MR. PILOT,

Given all these challenges flying around and seeing you take quite an interest in the LITEROTICA contest scene I thought I’d propose a challenge for you!

Quite simply Rate the Holiday Contest stories.

I tried it once. It wasn’t very warmly received actually. In fact eighteen months later wounds still remain open sores for some of our most prominent AHers.

Quite frankly sir, you’re about the only person now residing in LITEROTICA who could probably do it. You seem to have an excellent background for it and are perhaps the only man left who won’t be cowed into submission by the screaming hordes.

And while perhaps not the most popular (which might even be of value in this process) most AHers at least have a grudging respect for you.

Here is the link to my attempt at serious review, perhaps perusing it for a few minutes might allow you to not make some of the mistakes I did.

”Scouries scores the Nude Day Contest” Thread…

Interestingly, even among the yelling and shouting, there was enough positive feedback from people (seemingly tired of the sappy uncritical reviews that seem the norm here) to almost make the whole thing worthwhile.

Maybe your expertise could finally bring real critical reviews and appraisals to our fair land.

james r scouries

Read post # 24 of the above mentioned thread and you'll understand why it wasn't warmly received. Sour grapes does not a review make.

I wonder what the royalty structure is at Lit. for writing such reviews--and I also wonder if writing the reviews would enhance my sales.

Of course it would.

When you manufacture your own reality, anything is possible. ;)

On the other hand, I started out by saying this (meaning this thread) is fun.
