The scheme and the payback

So I was thinking, what about a story about 2 couples, both married.
Couple B however struck it rich, where couple A has to watch their finances.
Wife A has an affair with Husband B and they come up with a plan. Wife A racks up some debts which causes her and her husband to be in financial turmoil. Husband B offers to help them out, but wants to fuck Wife A in return (which he was already doing, but secretly.)

Wife A and Husband B enjoy humiliating Husband A. All unknown to Wife B of course. Husband B however finds out about their scheme and decides to go scorched earth. Prostitution is illegal where they live, for both the prostitute as well as their client. He informs the police and helps them catch Wife A and Husband B, bringing it all out in the open. Since payment was made for sex, they are both arrested and given minor sentences. The big thing though, both have a cheating clause in their marriage contracts. Husband A and Wife B take everything in the divorce, for Husband A, that's nothing too crazy, however Wife B gets a fortune.

Story ends with Husband A and Wife B on a Yacht. Husband A getting massaged by 2 beautiful young women, Wife B by 2 muscular handsome young men, ready to celebrate their victory with their gorgeous guests...

It seems like an overly elaborate revenge story but to each their own. I love the idea of the wronged spouses ending up together. That's very sweet. Maybe they knew each other in school but it was strictly friendly. Now though, all bets are off.

Yeah, you are probably right that it's a bit too elaborate, it kinda feels like it should be in multiple parts, but then it would pretty much hard shift from cuckold to a revenge story, which feels like the target audience would shift drastically. Probably putting this idea to bed, too many ideas to write already.

How about wife B figures out the husband is cheating, hires a PI and gets proof. She's about to confront him when she thinks about the other husband. She finds out about him and learns he's about to attend a conference in Kissimmee Florida. He's a handsome dude so she makes arrangements to be there. She meets him without telling him who she is, and they talk and have a nice to time. He's a rather decent fellow and he never makes a pass at her even when she asks him to dance at the club.
Then she arranges to meet him for breakfast where she reveals her ulterior motive for meeting him. He's devastated but perhaps suspected himself. They have an affair for the rest of the conference.
