Those cops did not deserve to die. It's an atrocity, a tragedy. Neither did those two black men.

Ignoring the fact that black lives do matter, though, makes it easier for those who've been ignored to feel justified--wrongly--that blue lives don't matter, that blue lives represent tyranny. They're black "Patriots," every bit as misguided as their white counterparts.

The two-faced GB moderator's "Pookie Rule" dictates only posting content she favors is permitted to directly reference killing people - including, of course, other posters.

Isn't it funny how the two-faced GB has allowed this same poster to post exactly the same thing about other tribes of people, in the exact same contextual vein, but only now she wields her mighty, net-rented ban hammer?

Timothy McVeigh went after the actual headquarters of the actual team responsible for both Waco and Ruby Ridge.

This guy, after consuming a steady diet of conflated statistics about cops "murdering blacks" (much like plenty of posters have disingenuously posted on this very board) simply looked for ANY white guy with a badge in a completely different town that has no recent history of any of the statistically insignificant, allegedly questionable, death by cop of (only) blacks.

Those that deliberately stoked the flames of distrust between blacks and cops with the idiotic narrative that cops are out there shooting blacks for no reason right and left, reap this whirlwind deservedly.

You know what they say about liars and statistics. Every black death at the hands of a cop is considered some sort of atrocity even when most of them, hen looked at, are not only justifiable, were completely the right decision. As are many of the deaths of whites by the hand of cops. No cop wants to get involved in a shooting. When called upon by circumstances to do so, most cops make that split-second second decision right, far more often than they make it wrong. Some cops make the wrong decision and pay with their lives for their valor or bad decision in hesitating before they take the shot.

That is not at all what is being portrayed by the idiotic black lives matter movement. the odds of anyone black or white dying for absolutely no reason the hands of a cop are infinitesimally small yet we have a riot every time any black guy dies before the shooting review is even complete much less any disciplinary action if needed is taken. When and if you have a question about the shooting it's been looked at including what should be a citizen review board turns the cops loose, THEN you want to have at those particular cops, I'm not delighted about it but at least it has some relevance to the problem when and where it exists.

Take a look at what actually happened in Dallas: there was an active shooter killing cops. There were blacks there with rifles who were not shot because they did not present a threat. The cops, while taking fatalities looked at those armed black men in body armor and carrying rifles, correctly assessed that they were not a presenting a threat and didn't shoot them. That was not just dumb luck that's integrity and good training.

I agree with your assessment of what I'm sure this shooter thought he was dealing with and thought he was reacting to tyranny The tyranny that he was reacting to was entirely a media fabrication. They own that. As do the people feeding the media for their own politically driven motives

The national press never talks about cops shooting people, they hate cops, they've hated the cops since Vietnam, but let one black person get shot by a white cop and it is all they can talk about. I posted some of the statistics from Heather Mac Donald's new book and white on black shootings is an extreme minority. A black man is more likely to be shot by a black or hispanic cop (not to mention the far greater likelihood of being shot by one of the black men in his own neighborhood, we gloss over that too) than a white cop.
