As expected, Florida U.S. Senator Marco Rubio looks ever closer to being Mitt Romney's Vice President running mate...
...but there is an issue concerning the Senator that may lose the Republican Party even more support from its conservative base than nominating the statist-neocon Romney for President.
The fact is, Marco Rubio was born in America...
...but not to American citizen parents.
Now...
...Rinos and even their socialist brethren will no doubt argue that the only thing that matters is that Rubio was born in the USA, thereby qualifying him as a "natural born" citizen. For the Republican Party, however, that's not going to fly real well with its true conservative base, and especially its tea bagger platton, many of whom consider only one who is born in the US to American citizen parents to be a "natural born" citizen, and thus eligible for the Office of President or Vice President.
It's going to be kind of a gas watching Rinos who bash Obama for having a non-American citizen father...
...root for their own guy whose parents weren't Americans either.
