As I was in the kitchen pouring another glass of ice tea, I heard the bell ring. I thought, "Oh great, I am not in the mood for any unexpected guests today." I get people ringing the bell all the time, so it was not unusual to hear it in the late afternoon. It was probably a student looking to sell chocolate bars or one of the oodles of Jehovah's that come looking to convert me. I turned the corner towards the front door. I was very pleased to see that it was neither of those annoying callers. My heart skipped a beat as I saw it was the young man I had seen up on the roof and another man, who I hadn't seen at the site. My mind was spinning, searching for a reason why they would ever ring my bell.

I approach the screen door, a bit anxious and a bit excited. The young man is so clean considering he's been working up on a hot roof all day. The other man looks as though he is in charge; he is very sure of himself and he looks respectable in his nice casual clothing. I can't imagine what they need, but I love helping people out so I'm ready to help in anyway I can. I stepped to the screen door, smiled my sparkling smile and asked, "can I help you gentlemen?".
