Okay, I liked the way my football thread is going. How about some basketball. Let's get that started. Let the games and rivalries begin. Again, I like Oregon and USC from the Pac Ten. I'll let you know in a little bit my dislikes. Of course in the NBA, I root for the Sixers. Now that it's started. Post away!!

I'm a long time Sixer fan. I'll tell ya' how long I've supported the Sixers. I hate the Celtics and Lakers. Now that's going back aways. lol


College. I support My Ducks and Trojans of course. I root for Georgetown and Depaul. Again Althought Mr Thompson, and Mr Meyer are no longer there, I still support the schools.

I hate Duke and North Carolina. That should start some controversy. So bring it on. Who do you like?? Who do you support?? Let's get the action going.

I wear my Carolina (Tarheel) blue.........regardless of win, lose or draw. So what, we haven't won much. I don't hide my allegiance. Every team is bound to have a "down" year or two (or three or four, etc...)

My blood runs Carolina Blue (in NCAA Hoops season) and Miami Orange and Green (in NCAA Football season).......and win, lose or draw I stand by my team.

Hell if I didn't I would left the Dallas Cowboys a long time ago......

Fair weather fans is what we call them. And there are lots of Fair Weather Carolina Panther fans round these parts. When the Panthers are winning or doing good they say "The Panthers kick ass" and when the Panthers are losing they say "Ghessh how did we wind up this way? I ain't wearing my Panthers paraphanalia (sp??)"

wah wah wah..........Band wagon Fans............just like all the Bandwagon Rams, Ravens, etc.... fans whenever they win the Big Bowl.

kg, it's all good. If God weren't a Tarheel the sky would be a different color, it's okay though. I respect other teams. You of all people should know that...........especially after your football thread. Just because the Heels are my fave doesn't mean I don't respect or pull for other teams also (though if they play the Heels, I will pull for the Heels)

and I root against Duke too kg............respect them but root against them. They are damn good this year.

His kids graduate and I like that. I just can't stand Duke. I hated North Carolina's "4 Corners" Yes, I know that's a long time ago, but I just can't stand them.

I agree with your statement about Coach K, he does tend to graduate his kids. That is, after all, what they are supposed to be in school for (besides being able to play basketball).
