So, Trump's real middle east peace plan rears its head as just another property speculation, his biggest and most expensive yet.

Not just a building or even a street, no, he's going to redevelop an entire country as a Mediterranean playground for ... who exactly? Oh yeah, the "people of the world" (translation: the rich of the world who won't mind that their apartments and hotels are likely built on the bodies of the dead and occupying land stolen from the dispossessed and exiled).

This plan depends on resettling the Palestinians -- and neither Jordan nor Egypt appears willing to take them.

Jared has already been working on the 'Middle East Riviera' project months ago.

He nor the Felon are worried about legal issues regarding the 'relandscaping' of Gaza to become a playground for the wealthy. No thoughts for the original owners or their property rights... just the spoils of war.

The image of American soldiers policing the territory while Trump's constructions are plotted and built must have him salivating tonight. Wonder if his techie is upfronting the financing?

I bet it'd come with a rider from Bibi to make sure it has an extension to the Iron Dome and a couple of US airbases as well. Nothing he'd like better than a solid US presence on the ground rather than having to go cap in hand for bombs and F35s.

You and yours are so easily triggered, Trumps musings can easily become reality.
Not sure I am into US dollars rebuilding Gaza. But returning the millions of palestinians to the countries of their original 20,000 origin countries makes perfect sense to me. When the brits redrew the lines in the middle east the arabs expelled the palestinians as lessor humans to spite Israel. Return them to their heritage. Which includes Saudi Syria Iraq Turkey and Lebanon taking them back too. Really fun to watch. Iraq and Turkey have been killing kurds because they don't like them for years. Sadam gassed them and Turkey funds and fuels the discontent in Iraq while trying to claim their oil. The Lebanese freaking out will be the best. Occupied by Iran all these years the natives will start a second migration to Mexico if they will have them this time. So many Canadians there at present that likely will not work too well.
A rebuilt Gaza might work like viewing stands for the perpetual arab olympics.
As for the palestinians it will be interesting to remove them from Gaza. We may find there are not that many of them and Gaza has been occupied by the Iranians the whole time. Which is likely the point of Trumps triggering rhetoric.

I'm also not triggered.

However the world has ten countries with nuclear weapons, five of which have an interest in the middle east.

Figures you'd miss my point. You're not the sharpest knife in the drawer.
The RAF are reported to have "bombed" the US in the early 60's during 2 exercises, whether true or not is disputed.

He'll get the rich Arabs to help pay for it. It's a bold proposal but so were the Abraham Accords.

Joe Stalin sent captured Nazis to work in Soviet mines for 10 years after WW2.

I think we might see some variation of Gazans being forced into similar capacities once the US conquers Greenland and opens up all those virgin lithium mines for President Musk.

"Win-win", amiright?

(In a perfect world, we would see war criminals of the genocidal Israeli "Defense" Force busting rocks side-by-side with Hamas soldiers. Ten years of hard labor would likely force them to unite against a common foe).

President Trump once again makes the USA the laughing stock of the world. Another stupid idea from the the fool who conned a bunch of rubes into voting for him.

Soon his con game will start screwing the gullible rubes.

That never happened. No one but Jews was ever expelled from their native country and sent to Palestine.

Why do you think that is, after all they came from Jordan?
No, they didn't come from anywhere else. The Palestinians have been living in Palestine time out of mind. They are descended from ancient Israelites, Canaanites and Philistines. Also Egyptians, Babylonians, Assyrians, Persians, Greeks, Romans, Arabs, Turks, Crusaders -- everybody who has ever invaded the Levant or passed through it.

Perhaps offer them Mars, as Elon looks for migrants to colonize the planet—no burnt-out building to bulldoze there. Well, there are some air-breathing problems, but the pollution issue would be a moot point.

The people who call themselves "Palestinian" today speak Arabic and practice Islam. They have no cultural continuity with the ancient peoples who lived in the region thousands of years ago.

Unlike the Jews, who have been living in Israel and speaking Hebrew the whole time as waves of invaders have washed over them.
