OOC: this is a thread of two rival bank gangs that rob banks. One group is consisted of all males and the other all females. I see each gang having four members each. If I get more interest than that then we could maybe use a marshall or other females who will be in Carson City already and want to join the gang! Setting is the Old West, mid 1800's. My character is Elizabeth Bennett, aka Liza Blue. I use my given name to stake out the cities where we are robbing banks. My gang and the law know me as Liza Blue. Elizabeth appears to be a well-to-do lady, balck hair pulled up and violet eyes. Liza allows her curly black hair to flow down over her shoulders.
IC: Liza Blue wasn't my real name but it sounded better than Elizabeth Bennett. I was an outlaw now and I had a reputation to uphold. The first time I robbed that bank in Bakersfield it had been such a rush that I formed a gang. we had robbed twelve banks since its formation. "The Bandit Queens," as we had become known as, consisted strictly of women. Since our sex had been deprived of so much in this country, I felt it necessary to take what had not been afforded to us.
Each of us had large bounties placed on our heads. Fortunately for us, no one had ever seen our faces while we robbed the banks. We had never actually kiled anyone but our threats always sounded genuine enough that the tellers quickly handed us what we demanded. Our next heist was being planned in Carson City. That is where our story begins.
The gang rode into Carson City on the stagecoach. One of the other girls had opted to bring the horses and hide them outside of town, planning to join us later.
We emerged from the coach to the male onlookers, dazed by our beauty. We all appeared to be normal women on a journey. I was dressed in a purple silk dress trimmed in black. The color of the dress was almost the same shade as my eyes and complimented my jet black hair. At 24 years of age, I should have been settled down with a husband and kids. Instead I was plundering from the wealthy.
