Because there is only an option for 10 poll questions - well, that makes things a bit on the limited side.......

So I did as best I could.

Nope - could not option Asians, Native Americans, and the like. Couldn't even offer the same options for the older users - only male and female.

And for those of you offended by not using the term "African American" in the poll I appologize - but it is my understanding that most prefer "black."

Anyway - you can't keep everybody happy with only 10 options and societal changes in name preferences.

So be that as it may - with all it's limitations - the poll - the concensus.

over 25 but under 35 white male - well I was white till i sat outside yesterday - fell asleep and burnt to a lovely shade of red - didn't see that colour under the poll - so I picked white!

The only point of this poll is very, very simple....

Who? Who are "we" here?

I suspect - that most of us are white. So what - no big deal.

I also suspect that there would be more white males than white females.

I also suspect that of those white males - most are on the younger side.

But - if you don't/won't take the poll - and if so - tell me why you won't - because I certainly don't understand any reluctance on an anonymous poll.

I'm certainly not ashamed of who I am - and I'm not ashamed of where I am and who I (anonymously) share that information with.

The facts are all in the "buying public." Who has enough monte to afford a computer in the first place. Who once owning a computer - finds their way here to Literotica.

That's all - it's just like Coke or Pepsi. It's marketing in reverse.

i think, as much as anyone hates to admit, that there are more underage people visiting Lit than anyone thinks. And, even tho they would remain anon, they are not gonna admit it on a poll for fear of being flamed.

i can think of 1 17yr right now who is gonna have a birthday in a few weeks.... does a couple weeks make that big of difference? *shrugs* i dunno....

The only thing I can say is - all you lurkers out there - they can't get you, it's anonymous - beleive me. And anyway - there is no option for "under" 18 - so lie - tell us you're 18 - 25.

We (well some of lus anyway) are just curious as to the "skew" of the board.

There's a word for you "skew." You young'uns look that one up.

See? This is a teaching tool.

As for my hunches - I say that "poster's" - those of us who post and reply here on the General Board - are in a gross minority.

And of the majority - or those who don't post - those who lurk - they are, "younger white males."

And - those who do post - those who actively have a developed persona here and voice that persona - they too - are mostley "young white males."

Dat's my hunch.
