Any reason to why you are not being told why your stories are rejected?
(apart from discouraging people from correcting their mistakes and retry to be published)

The standard is to mark it as "sent back" on your author's page. How do you know it's been rejected? Have you looked at its status on your author's page?

Are you sure? AFAIK, rejections usually come with reasons. What did the rejection notice say?

Same issue here.

Three times requested after a rejection with the standard text :

Dear Writer,

Thank you for your submission to Literotica. We appreciate the time and effort you've taken to write a story and submit it to our site . However, we've found that we cannot post your submission in its current form. The checklist below may help you in re-examining your manuscript.

Did I check to make sure everything was spelled correctly?
Please spellcheck completely using spellcheck software and resubmit. Thank you very much! Also, Please fix the punctuation of your dialogue. The convention is that you include periods, commas, exclamation points, or question marks inside the quotes with no space between the ending punctuation and the quotation mark. The essay "How to Make Characters Talk" in our Writer's Resources section has more information on the formatting of dialogue if you have further questions: https://www.literotica.com/s/how-to-make-characters-talk

Please feel free to re-submit the story after a Volunteer Editor has examined it, or after you've made revisions. You can find a list of Volunteer Editors here.

On which I replied in "Note to Admin":

Can you tell me what is wrong with this story ?
I made it more readable by adding blank lines between paragraphs and checked spelling.

But still the story is rejected without mentioning a reason.

But all times rejected with same story.

Although often what is being questioned isn't really there, the rejection notice did give you two reasons for rejection--spelling and punctuation.

Your answer said you did spell check it (which doesn't really fully address that issue. Did you recheck questionable words in an actual dictionary? Computer spellcheck doesn't really cover everything. Also did the Literotica check program maybe not catch spelling variations you purposely were using? At this stage, you're not necessarily seeing human check). But you didn't respond to the punctuation issue at all. How much do you really know about American style (this is a U.S.-based site) punctuation conventions? Maybe that's what you need to take a closer look at. Maybe you should be asking for help in looking at what a continuing problem is with your file that you just don't see.

This is not a case, though, where rejection reasons weren't given. It's a shame, yes, that the submissions editor hasn't given specific rejection examples in your story, but she, alone, processes over a 100 stories a day, every day. Such personalized scrutiny just isn't going to happen here.

It's not reasonable to expect the Story Moderators to do an in depth review/edit. Simply impossible to provide in detail what the problems are, given the number of stories per day that get sent in.

The solution is; find a Beta Reader or two, that have some track record of successful stories to "proof-read" your story. An editor would be an even better check, but true editing is, IMO, a more skilled task.

Find some buddies and Literotica becomes a better experience all around.
