I saw it last night again for the second time.

I'm beginning to think that it's the best movie "I've seen" in recent or distant memory.

I love "guy flicks." Good ones like the Terminator's and first Die Hard.

And I pretty much can't take "girl flicks." Bridges of Madison County and what's that Oscar one? The one where the dude dies on the beach in the end - anyway. You know? Out of Africa and shit like that. Sometimes I can get into the photography but, but, but........ these are not my preference.

Comedies? Most suck nowadays. Even the new Jackie Chan - is' only all right. I didn't feel I wasted my money, I had a good time but - they've done much, much better in the past.

Cowboy flicks? It seems they can't do them all that well anymore. Unless Eastwood makes one.

So that leaves all these Period Pieces and nobody sees. I here that this new Nick Cage movie is embarassing. And even if they are good to pretty good - nobody goes.

Looks like Woody has finally put a good one back together - hope so - I will see that one.

But The Red Violin? It's a great movie. Noboby saw.

Wrong again Sparkster. I saw it when it was at the festival. Good flick.

But you're right. Movies suck nowadays. I didn't really like the last Kevin Smith movie for chrissakes.

I loved the Red violin. It might have helped that Sam Jackson is one of my favorite actors, but Red Violin is still excellent.

I stayed up late last night and watched a very weird/funny movie called The Woman Chaser. It stars Patrick Warburton, who is probably best known for being Elaine's boyfriend on Seinfeld, and is one of the best comedic actors around (IMHO).

The movie was made in 1999 and is black and white and can best be described as comedic film noir, if that can possibly be a category.

Warburton plays a used car dealer who is obsessed with writing and directing a movie during the late fifties. Along the way toward fulfilling his dream, he gets mixed up in all kinds of bizarre sexual situations, including seducing a 53-yr-old salvation Army worker. It's weird.

Check it out.
