This is an idea i have been playing with in my head. I'll just bring it out here on lit, on the ORP forum and see what becomes of it.
*****
After the death of king Saladmar, the great empire Altair was led astray by his son, the new king...king Guedur Visdrictus the 15th.
On ascending the throne, Guedur who was once a honorable warrior prince became a ruthless killer to his people. Guedur freed the cannibals of the East woods and removed the lock to the dungeon that housed the blood suckers: vampires.
Rumored to be an immortal, Guedur and his band of cannibals and vampires, laid waste to Hasingdor...land of the wood elves, leaving no survivor. (you can surprise them here) Guedur imprisoned his generals and recruited the slugs of the underground. Orcs.
Altair that was once a luxury home became a spartan zone. A den of thieves and pickpockets, of rogues and assassins, all striving to survive a day.
But all this was nothing...the prophecy of the great sage Lukahn mentioned of many more events.
