Some of you have asked what my poem, 'The Perfect Man' was a spoof of.

Well...

I have this obsession (I could show you my favorite obsession)
To deny it
Is out of the question

The perfect man
Does he have
Blonde hair and a tan? (I've been making a man With blonde hair and a tan)

No, he’s not some creature
From some
Science fiction, double feature (Science fiction double feature Doctor X will build a creature)

He’s seen blue skies
With his
Deep dark eyes (Smile, and that will mean I may 'Cause I've seen blue skies Through the tears in my eyes And I realize I'm going home)

Through his soft brown hair
I run my fingers
Lewd daydream or erotic nightmare (Erotic nightmares beyond any measure And sensual daydreams to treasure forever)

The silky drape clung to his thigh (Whatever happened to Fay Wray? That delicate satin draped frame As it clung to her thigh, how I started to cry)
Elusive
And a little bit shy

Insane lust taking its toll (Time is fleeting Madness takes its toll)
Hot Damn!
Bless my soul (Hot patootie, bless my soul I really love that Rock and Roll)

Only kissed before (I was feeling done in Couldn't win I'd only ever kissed before)
Left me wanting
More, more, more! (I've tasted blood and I want more. More, more, more!)

He flexed his muscles (But it was over when he had the plan To start working on a muscle man)
And asked me to dance
The Madison, not The Hustle (Say something! … Say! Any of you know how to Madison?)

Thrown into mind flips (With a bit of a mind flip You're into the time slip)
My body quivered
As his tongue ran over his lush lips

I took a step to the right (It's just a jump to the left And then a step to the right With your hands on your hips You bring your knees in tight)
He gave me an evil wink (Well I was walking down the street Just a having a think When a snake of a guy gave me an evil wink)
It was going to be a special night (You've arrived on a rather special night. It's one of the master's affairs.)

In just seven days since it began (In just seven days I can make you a man)
On a strange journey (I would like, if I may, to take you on a strange journey.)
With the perfect man

I saw a rose today
I ABSORBED its essence
pulled it closer and it pricked me like a rebel rose <grin>

I think it is special to see what brought a poem to life. TY
