Build: a nice firm muscular body from constant swimming and amateur rugby leagues, but not bulky.

Build: Toned.

Daniel is one of the newer guys... he's a fairly good mechanic and usually spends his free time helping his "buddies" fix up their cars, trucks, motorcycles.. pretty much anything with an engine and a couple of wheels. Daniel is a nice guy, usually seen wearing a cowboy hat when not at work, or working on a friend's car. Tends to dress in blue jeans, boots, and nice button down shirts. He's always usually got a white tank top on underneath his shirt, just incase he needs to help someone fix something... He keeps his brownish blone hair cut short and usually sports a slightly scruffy face.

He's known Lindsey all her life and used to baby sit for her when she was very young.

Tami loves her cousin dearly, but has always been a bit jelous of her height and body. Still conscience about the few extra pounds that are hidden around her body. Loves coming to hang out at her cousins house and seeing her uncle and all his friends, but does feel self-conscience around men in general.

Let's Get This Started

It was shortly after quitting time at work, and already Danny could be found under the hood of a friends car. He took a long drag on his cigerette and moved some hoses so he could see. He glanced up at Edward and shook his head slightly, "It doesn't look good man. Looks like you need new plugs, your starter is gonna go soon too." He pulled a rag from his back pocket and wiped his hands off with a sigh.

He grabbed his beer from off the ground and took a sip, after flicking the burning butt of his smoke into the street. "I'll see if I can get you a deal on the parts and get it done for you next weekend. So, what time are the other guys showing up.. ain't much of a poker game with just the two of us." Daniel picked his hat up off the ground and put it back on his head, he then sat down on the ground and continued drinking his beer.

Edward laughed quietly, walking away from the car, taking a swig of his beer, thankful for it in the hot weather, only nodding as Danny spoke, he never knew what the hell he was on about when it came to cars, poker was a different matter however, that he could understand...and as any schmuck who played poker knew, you could never play without atleast 5 guys. I grinned as I took another swig of the beer.

"Very true, but don't worry Danny boy" He hated that name, so we all called him that ofcourse...such friends "They will turn up in time, we'll begin playing at 7 tongiht, we'll have plenty of beer by then...and nachos ofcourse" He laughed again, setting his beer down on the small table that he had set down in the front lawn. He wondered where his daughter was school was surely finished by now, and he was sure she was supposed to be home by now...did she say something about going out tonight...Edward shook his head, I'll forget my head next, not much to do but wait he supposed

Daniel gritted his teeth slightly and pulled out another cigerette. He stuck it between his lips and nodded slightly before sparking it, taking a drag. "Sounds good to me." Boy did he hate that nickname, hated the song even worse. He finished off his beer and sighed.

"These hot-ass days are killers. I need to move someplace cool.. maybe near a beach so those nice cool breezes can come in off the ocean.. plus the veiws around those parts in late spring, early summer are priceless..." Daniel chuckled slightly and then took another drag. It had to be at least 6 or so he thoughts, having left his cell phone in his truck..

"So, Eddy, please tell me you've got the AC kicked on in that old shack of yours?"

Steven

Steve drew up outside Ed's house and saw Ed an Dan in the garden drinking as they waited for the poker crowd to arrive.

"Hey you guys want to give me a hand emptying the trunk?" he yelled he had a load of beer in the back of the car.

"Where's the best place to keep it cool?" he asked Ed as the guys came over to help and started unloading the beer.

Edward walked over to Steve's run down car, he smiled as he wondered what was actually holding that hting together, probably the rust, no matter what Dan tried Steve would never let him near the car said it would ruin the style of the car, and despite his horrible fashion stlye when it came to cars and sometime clothes he was a sharp guy, could always find the joke in things, so he got along with people well, it was probably where he got all this beer, probably didn't even pay more than a few dollars for all of it.

"Just chuck it down in the basement, I always keep it much cooler down in there, especially for those dead boides" We all laughed as we began carting the beer down into the basement, the day still as hot as it got into the evening, the summer's were horrible at this time, Dan was right, a nice place on the beach would be perfect.

A few journeys each down to the basement soon had all the beer stacked in a cool corner, Steve was ready for a drink himself he'd had to wait as he was driving the beer over.

"Where are the rest of the guys?" he asked Ed after he'd got himself a beer and the three of them were sitting at the table in the garden.

"It won't be much of a game with just the three of us," he added.

Dan laughed slightly, a case of beer on his shoulder as he came down the steps, "I asked the same question myself. Eddy told me not to worry about it. That they'd be here. Personally, I think this is gonna be one sorry ass poker game. You chummps are totally gonna be out some cash."

Dan was an all right poker player, he could probably hold his own for a little while in those big tournaments.. at least till he put down a few. Then.. then all bets were off, and it was all in the hands of Lady Luck.

"Man it feels great down here..." Dan commented about the very cool basement. He sat down on the floor next to the beer and just enjoyed the cool air. "So what have you been up too Steve? Anything interesting?"

"Nothing much with work, I don't get a lot of free time these days tonight is the first free evening I've had for a week," Steve replied to Dan's question.

Taking a swig of his beer he looked at Dan and wondered if he would fleece them again as he had in the past.

Steve could remember about six years ago while Lindsey was still in school he'd had a poker game at his place. Dan was there fleecing everybody until Lindsey had come in complaining that nobody was home at her place and she was hungry.

He'd stopped and got her something to eat and at that point his luck with the cards changed allowing him to make a small profit on the game. Because he like most card players was superstitious he'd given Lindsey half his winnings as he considered her his good luck charm that day.
