This is my take on the superhero threads that seem to be popular around Lit. Here's my idea: We use the Teen Titans name, but we make our own characters or revamp existing ones. If you want to use an already established character, PM me. In this reality, things happen a little differently. We're all friends in high school. It's spring break of our senior year, and we're all down in Daytona Beach, Florida. We live in Vector City, Michigan, a bustling metropolis that is even bigger than Detroit or Lansing (in this game, anyway, lol). So, we're all down at the beach getting drunk off our asses (even though we're all only 18, we managed to get our hands on some alcoholic beverages
). On the last night of spring break, we go all out and get aboard a massive party on some rich kid's yacht, and go for a little ride. Little do we know that a severe thunderstorm has formed, and is heading right for us. The storm hits, the waves crash, the lighting flashes, and the thunder claps. The yacht rocks violently, and the wood splinters and cracks. Suddenly, a flash of lighting strikes the boat. We all see the bright light fade to darkness, and we're falling... we feel ourselves splash into the warm waters, and then, nothing...We awake to find ourselves washed ashore, and the sun is out. Not really sure what happened the previous night, we return to the hotel and pack our things. We return home to Vector, putting the vacation behind us. However, after a few days, we start to feel different. We've changed somehow... And then we begin to develop strange new powers...
This is the setting for my idea. We can either start the rp at the beginning of the vacation to get some good sex action in firsthand and to develop our characters' personalities before their powers, or we can start it from when they get back to Vector, or whatever. Post with your character and your ideas. Although they haven't become superheroes just yet, I still want all your superhero info ahead of time, so that two people don't make heroes too similar.
In addition to fighting the others who have changed and abuse their powers, they also try and unlock clues to the mystery of how that storm changed them... Occupation: Senior at Vector City High School/Leader of the Teen Titans
Alter-ego: Solaris
Strengths: Can absorb solar energy and use it to advance his physical capabilities (senses, strength, speed, agility, stamina). In addition, he can release the energy in the form of a sphere, beam, or bolt, or if he has enough stored, a wave or blast.
Weaknesses: He cannot absorb any energy at night or during a solar eclipse. Later on, He'll end up watching the sunset every night, absorbing as much energy as he can before nightfall and putting it in reserve, only using it if needed.
