I cannot afford to be out of work, nor can I afford to be sick and have massive hospital bills.

So I wear a mask, wash my hands regularly for 20 seconds and with a good lather, distance myself when out, keep hand sanitiser in my car for before and after trips in the store and generally reduce my unnecessary exposure to others.

Don't you?

Yes, but you're also not under the spell of a cult leader who has spent most of this year telling anyone who will listen to him that masks aren't necessary.
