No disrespect to Aaliyah - but Joey and the Ramones influence - hell created - a whole genre that's still going strong. Would have been nice to see a proper tribute to him. Props to U2 at least.

Not a mega fan but saw them 3 times.

A great, great, great fucking Trogladite of an NYC (well Rockaway and that area) garage band - excellent example of what Rock'nRoll "should be" all about.

My fav is Bonzo Goes To Bitburg - the opening 10 seconds is the greatest, kick ass R'nR to me.

So fucking cool.

I thing there's a Glockenspeil in there. Or a toy piano.

I saw them a couple times... always great - though I do have to say that the opening 10 seconds of most of their songs sounded pretty much alike (Drum... beat... beat... beat... beat...).
