she is that gal with thick glasses, who comes into the publishing house or law firm as all the day staff reads because she is known for one talent - proofreading. In fact, that's all that anybody knows her as : "The Proofreader".

because spellchecking has destroyed most people's proofreading skill, she is a highly valued employee. the boss wants her content. The boss worries that if The Proofreader does not have a social life, she will look for a day job...

I've kind of had the same idea for years....a Cinderella story where she's a hottie but never knew how to dress or act, and her "boss" brings that side out

where she goes from wearing ugly long dresses to sexy power suits. clothes that fit her, highlight her assets! hehe

I was leaving the details in hopes of inspired replies...but my mental picture was a girlish hair cut - straight bangs, straight dark hair to her shoulders. Big glasses of coourse. A white blouse with one of those ridiculous bows at the neck, worn untucked so her boobage is indisctinct. Ugly crocheted sweater vest, also loose, shapeless. Simple dark skirt falling straight to her knees. flats. knee socks.

Being Bi sometimes I enjoy adding a sapphic twist to my story plots..

Even wrote a (bad) story where a female used a date rape drug on another female!!
