The private sector is doing find. Not.

This is exactly right. A big part of why job growth isn't robust is because the number of public sector employees is shrinking rapidly, canceling out private sector growth. Now, conservatives will instantly tell you that shrinking numbers of government workers is a good thing. Unless a Democrat is in office, then they will tell you WHAAAAA!!! JOB LOSSES!

Facts don't mean much here. Low-information voters like Vette and Cheyenne don't value facts because they have a well-known liberal bias. They take right wing propaganda at face-value every time and refuse to fact check on their own.

Yawn! Government jobs are a dead liability on the economy. They produce nothing for sale.

So are you apologizing for being a Marine? You dead weight piece of crap.

Harry Truman fired 10 million government employees between 1945-48, it led to a huge expansion of the economy.

Republican revisionist history at its finest. The economy expanded after WWII because of government layoffs.

In what universe do all those NEGATIVE numbers for the private sector translate into "the private sector is doing fine?"

Gubmint workers make more money than welfare moms, and create as much wealth.

MERC has trouble wrapping his mind around the idea of Americans wanting new cars more than new tank drivers and new rules and more inspectors and more lawyers.

Good to know NIGGER POOP and NIGGERPOONZANDI are ATTACKING what the NIGGER said

Obama's new economic adviser, Wile E. Coyote

One of the immutable rules of politics is that if you have to explain something you've said publicly, the argument is already lost. "What I was trying to say was...."

Loser!

In that sense President Obama was strategically wise Friday afternoon not to try to somehow explain his morning jaw-dropper about the private U.S. economic sector doing just fine with the real unemployment rate above 14%. Instead, the Democrat simply contradicted himself. Create a new quotable reality. The Chicago way.

Morning: "The private sector is doing just fine."

Afternoon: "It is absolutely clear that the economy is not doing fine."

of course the above NIGGERS can and will actually ARGUE teh 2 comments are NOT discussing the same thing...and that in fact is true

Wait, this can't be right. Republicans cut the number of government workers and Democrats increase them; everyone knows that.

Didja notice that the Vettebigot used Rasmussen opinion polls to counter the BLS facts? Opinions are as good as facts on Planet Wingnut.

So you're saying you would be just as wealthy if your city dropped its police force? Or would your property value fall right into the toilet?

Do teachers create wealth? Or do people with no education do just fine?

You really haven't thought this through. None of you have.

So are you saying that you agree with Obama, that the "private sector is doing fine?" Seriously?

The private sector has shown tremendous gains, especially in comparison to the public sector, which the right is quick to demonize.

While I don't think the private sector is doing "fine", it's doing a lot better than it was in 2008, when Obama was elected.

Will you give him any credit for it?

That wasn't really his point. Did you watch the interview? He said that the economy has put on 4 million jobs in just two years, but that it's partially masked by the rapidly shrinking public sector. I think Obama put it poorly but did a good job clarifying shortly after that comment.

Of course you're just reacting to the conservative hype that doesn't want you to keep things in context so you'll just ignore all this.

When will Republicans credit Obama for the shrinking public sector? They'd sure as hell credit him if it was growing, wouldn't they?

But what we have instead is the lying ass right wing narrative that pushes the falsehood that government payroll is growing under Obama.

Let's see what she has to say about it. I'm curious as to if she'll pull a vet/AJ, and try to avoid answering, or if she'll actually be honest about it.
