Why do Japanese game shows kick the asses of their American counterparts? First there was MXC (which is still my favorite one), now we have Human Tetris

It's amazing what good sports they are. MXC has some incredibly painful looking bumps, but the contestants just keep lining up. *shrug*

My nephew got me watching G4, although I don't do it that often. It's so bizarre to see the differences in the way we view humor (bikini clad women forced to sit with meat on their head, in a contest to see who will run first from large lizards? ). I just saw another one today, somebody trained a monkey to walk dogs, then let them loose and had a camera follow them from a distance. It's a mixture of hysterical and touching moments (with just a little uncomfortableness, since the monkey acts quite a bit like a young child).

I wish we had something more like that. Fear Factor was just so nasty. *shudder* MXC and the Tetris thing are just funny (I love the dubs on MXC, they never fail to make me laugh).

we get one every now and again here....they have to do all these crazy obstacles like go across a small wooden bridge with the side while they shoot what looks like soccer balls at them. Get over a large wall, slam through doors which some dont open so they just smakc em and bounce off. The little one thinks its extremely hysterical (so does the mommy). Craig Charles from red dwarf does the voice over stuff.
