Southampton Children’s Hospital is one of the best you can find and most of their patients are filthy rich. Well, rich kids are not that easy to handle and pretty demanding too. You had to treat them with respect and love.

My name is Alex, age 35. The most favorable Pediatrician in this hospital. The children are very sensitive and you really had to be a loving person and carry a smile all day long to win their heart.

Being a popular doctor here, some nurses are quite suggestive, trying to attract my attention. Although I am nice to all of them, I still carry a great reputation, never been flirting or taking advantage at any of them.

I had a girlfriend. She works in the building too. Well, I'll let her introduce herself. We started dating only about two months ago and getting pretty well.

Katherine Doyle had been at SouthHampton for close to five years now. She was 32 and had been in the military for a number of years before a medical discharge, she promptly went into the private security business and soon landed a gig at the hospital. Her mahogany hair was tied back in a strict bun, not a strand out of place. She was 5'6" and an athletic 120 pounds, dressed in her security uniform she patrolled the hospital, at her side was a massive 90 pound solid black German shepherd, named Nitro. She made her rounds through the hospital, stopping often as children loved Nitro and wanted to pet him, despite being highly trained and would apprehend anyone on cue, he was very gentle and sweet with children. Moving up the floors she made it to Alex's floor, despite her long standing rule of keeping work and personal separate, she was now dating a doctor. Her pale grey eyes skimmed the faces of the people she passed, greeting a few of the nurses or children as they moved through. Her and her partner made three rounds a day, morning, mid day and afternoon. As of now it was afternoon and she would be clocking off soon and heading home, she wanted to check in with Alex, see what his evening looked like, maybe they could grab dinner together.

The nurses are envy when Alex finally admitted openly that he is dating with Katherine. It has been a topic of interest when such a soft spoken and gentle guy choosing a tough athletic figure to be his girlfriend. He is a six footer with judo black belt but his shy and loving character defines his gentleness.

"Hey Katherine, I will be off in 30 minutes. Shall we go dinner and movie tonight? It is a weekend anyway and may be you can put up a night at my place if you decided not to go home." he winks at her.

He gave her a peck on her cheek and sort out the papers on his working desk. He has a habit of clearing and organizing his stuffs everyday before leaving.

"Hey," She greets Alex, her voice a unique mix having a western drawl and a whisper of Irish. "Sounds good, it'll give me enough time to change and drop off Nit." She said as she leaned against the door frame of his office. Then she smirks, "Oh I think we might be able to work that out," She teased, she honestly planned on spending at least one night at Alex's this weekend." Smiling at the kiss she said, "I can meet you at that Italian place in an hour?" she asked, knowing he'd probably need time to change and all that too.

She left soon after, finishing her rounds before clocking out. Grabbing her stuff she headed home, showering and dressing in a pair of nice jeans and a emerald green frilly blouse. Letting her long mahogany hair out, it had a slight curl to it as she fed her dog and got ready to leave.

Alex was also a workaholic and he end up taking his shower in the hospital in order to beat the jam and not to be late. Well he got there just on time to pick a nice table for two. It was on the open balcony where the bright lights and busy streets below illustrate liveliness of a modern city.

He check out the movie list and shortlisted 3. A horror movie about some man eating cannibals, a comedy about some young teens trying to sneaks into each others bed and James Bond the typical action movie.

Suddenly, he saw Kath walking up his direction. He stood up, pulling her chair for her and whisper cheerfully "you are so beautiful tonight"

She drove to the restaurant and found Alex, smiling she approached, pressing her lips to his cheek, "Thank you," She murmured as she sat down, "So how was your day?" she asked curiously as she skimmed the menu, she'd skipped lunch again today and was starving. She finally decided on a chicken alfredo meal. She set her menu down, focusing on her boyfriend, once again grateful she'd decided to ignore her 'no dating coworkers' rule that she had. It was nice to not be alone every night, just her and Nitro at home, in her little house on the edge of town. This was her first long term relationship in a long long time, she tended towards one night stands and flings, as opposed to real relationships, but with Alex it was different.

The lunch was great. Alex order himself a set of steak and red wine. He shows her the choices of available movies and suggest that she should choose from them. "So babe, if you cannot decide a movie, then we had to change plan. The night is still young and we had plenty of time tonight."

We had just finish our food and sipping the wine when the music began to play. "Dance?" I suddenly suggest. Standing on my feet and invite you as more and more people are ushering into the dancing floor.
