The Positive Attention Thread.

Having read through another thread hanging about here, I decided not to add to it, but to start a seperate, more positive place to make a point and hopefully to fulfill a need that exsists in the AH too.


I know people can feel ignored here, I've felt it. When you're feeling down or you have esteem troubles anyway the first thing you think is "I'm not interesting enough to be answered." or "I'm being ignored." I have to say that this mostly isn't the case. Bulletin boards run quickly, they have cross conversations running through them and it's easy to miss a post in your haste to post yourself.

Anyhow, this is the place for anyone who is feeling a little left out to come in and have some positive attention shown to them. I promise that I will respond to anyone and everyone who posts here -but it might not be immediately, as I'm not online 24/7. However I'd hope other memebers would step in when they saw this thread at the top of the pile, just to hand out some attention and maybe share some conversation with a person they might not have met or chatted to before.

I want every single person here, from the newest newbie to the most established to know that they are valued for what they bring to the mix here in the AH. This place would not be the same without each and every one of you.

Yes, EL certainly is a grand Dame. She’s the most thoughtful and gentle of us. In all my time here, I've never seen her say anything to anyone that could even remotely be construed as harsh, or even impolite.
