Cali Nelson age 29 5’5 long auburn hair, had never been one that gave up without a fight. She refused to succumb to the inevitable blindness that was slowly taking over her eyes. First she had to resign from the police station where she had been detective. Now she had to surrender her driver’s license.
Her previous partner and her had been romantically involved. But that ended when he tried to take care of her. She wasn’t ready to surrender to this just yet, she wasn’t ready to admit that she needed help. So instead she started up a private eye business. The only problem was she couldn’t register for a gun because she couldn’t see the target, so now she carried a baton and used the self-defense training instead.
Her cases ranged from missing teens to suspected cheated spouses. Tonight was her latest case; she hated having to work nights since her night blindness made things a lot more difficult. She had tracked the suspected erratic cheating husband to a club down town. She stood watching from a corner booth as he struck up brief conversations with a few young girls. Then a tall man approached him, he seemed to know him. His body language on the other hand seemed to relay that he was a bit nervous or scared
The man that approached him left, and her clients husband Mr. Collins waited a few moments looked around nervously and headed out as well. Giving the nervous man a few moments leeway she made her way out of the club and luckily caught the tail end of him going around a corner of the alley.
Slowly she approached with her camera ready. It was then that the screaming commenced and she turned the corner quickly with her want drawn just in time to see him go through an intention in the wall. Thinking it must be a door she hurried down the narrow dark ally only to find that instead of a door it was just a brick wall with blood dripping down it.
The next thing she knew she was hit on the back of her head. When she came to the figure of a man with a silky voice was speaking to her. Then he was on the phone saying something about an ambulance to have her checked out.
