here are two of my beloved nine cats- Miss Moo Ling asleep on top of Aubrey (Beardsley namesake, with his long face and the parted hair)
Moomie has the prettiest, nineteen-twenties face, and hearts on her sides- I've never gotten a good photo of them.

Aww that reminds me of a time in college when my oldest was a kitten. A friend and I were lounging in my room chatting, and my crazy cat used all of her 24 claws (yes, she's 6-toed) to climb straight up the open door to perch on the top. It boggled our minds, and she looked so pleased to have accomplished that feat. I so wish digital cameras were around in those days.

Now, at almost 17, she just contents herself with sleeping by me on my overstuffed chair.
