It is totally politically incorrect - which fits LC to a T. I remember about 20 years ago I went to visit him in California and his fave vid/arcade game was "paratrooper" or something like that. What he especially liked was shooting the people falling from a shot down fighter in their parachutes. He would fire at them until their parachute was gone, and then they would fall with an "ahhh!" scream and splat! hit the ground. Even though such tactics resulted in losing points, that was his favorite thing to do. His scores would always be lower than others because he did that.

Though, there is something vaguely reprehensible about this whole shooting game business. Other than the fact that people bang on the start button with the gaudy fake plastic guns and throw the sights off and you can't take them down to the range and zero them back in. It's why I generally use the right one rather than the left. The majority of the people are right handed and it's more comfortable to shoot from the left because that places the screen and all of your targets on your right side. I'm ambidexterous that way.

Don't take me bowling.

Hey, I think I just found my Area 51 playing buddy.

The problem LC faces is that he has a slow dialup connection and an even slower PC (I don't know if it even has a Pentium or not - but it is glacially slow). He plays his games with some sort of game machine on his TV. Me, I play solitare or Go, and that is pretty much the extent of my game playing.

Maybe, but I found the same sites with both set of terms. Sometimes you just have to be a little creative and vary the terms a bit.

I have been practicing shooting with both guns on those arcade shooting games recently. My right hand is still more accurate then my left but I am getting closer and closer to 50% each time.

I will probably buy it to save until I upgrade and get a DSL. Until then, I guess I have to play with real people....muhahahahahah!
