The Perfect Girlfriend

I was just wondering what qualities make up an ideal girlfriend (or boyfriend if you want to discuss that topic, lol) and, for those of you who know, what little quirks made you realize that your lover was the one you wanted to spend the rest of your life with?
Also, what sort of things do you remember touching your heart and strengthening the bond you felt with your partner? My friends and I were just discussing little things we do that make guys want to commit and such... so this is the topic that sprung from it.
:rose:

That was beautiful, PinkOrchid, just the kind of thing I wanted to hear :rose:.
Reminding me of the little things I love about Chris... the gestures he makes towards me when he thinks I'm asleep as you mentioned. The cuddling and whispered I-love-yous for no reason at all into the darkness... It's really the things that happen that you're not supposed to be aware of that make up a true romantic gesture I think.

Aww... ((hugs Jack)) I'm still too young to jabber on about how Chris is my soulmate and I'll never be with anyone else. I want that desperately right now but I'm not naive enough to say that it will be so. I do think that you should never give up hope on trying to find someone to be with though... if that's what you truly want... just try to date around and enjoy the experiences. You never know what you might find out there. :) Hell, I found Chris by illegally signing up to a dating service as a joke

I probably should try to keep myself down every once in a while, lol. My three year relationship with my 'soulmate' went down the tubes a year ago and not even a month after the breakup I was with Chris... and before that I would always leave one boyfriend directly for my new one . I haven't been single for more than a month since I was nine, LoL. My shortest relationship was eight months though so it isn't like all of my relationships were quick and pointless... I learned from them even as a young temptress. Chris is definitely the first guy I have ever felt this passionately for though... and the only one I have ever wanted to become physically involved with. I sincerely lovers him...

Just don't let yourself get too down... the farther you let yourself go, the harder it is to get back up. It's good that you remain hopeful and want to keep up the good fight, lol, just try to also not take dating so seriously... you can have fun and hang out and not be soulmates destined to spend eternity together. Brings up that old cliche about things happening when you least expect them. I think that's how we tend to find love... when we're not counting on it...

The perfect girlfriend..

The perfect girlfriend for me is one that won't tell my wife.

I'M KIDDING!!

But really....that would be the perfect girlfriend
:D

ExtacyCouple, your wife isn't your ideal girlfriend? Why not?

Jack... actually Chris does have a sister. She's one of the most attractive young women I have ever seen and intelligent and fairly perfect. You can't have her, lol, she already has a man...

lol, so true Exatcycouple. Unless she wants your wife to join in.

Tania, with friends like you I wont stay down long. Does Chris have a sister lol

Yes jack, but that's a whole different thread.

Yes, I have the best sister in the world... and she is WAY TOO GOOD FOR YOU!!!!! ::violently protective, lmao::. Really though... I love you... but my sister is the prime picture of perfection in humans. I would set you up with someone but all of my friends are either underaged or engaged, lol.

No Tania, mine was just a joke. My wife is my perfect girlfriend and truely my soul mate. The strange thing is I don't think I could describe what makes her perfect for me. She just is and it is something I have always known since the day I met her.

If you read this babe....I love you!

That's wonderful, ExtacyCouple, I always just get upset/worried when married people talk about getting girlfriends or boyfriends, lol. It seems like nowadays that so many married folks don't even like each other... it's just depressing. :(

Jack, why don't you like being setup? Bad past experiences? I'd rather pick my own dates than get setup as well... but I probably wouldn't turn down an opportunity, lol. That is, if Chris and I were not together, of course. ::good girl::

**Have you ever done any shopping off of ebay?? It's rather addicting... I find myself getting antsy if I don't buy something every day . Tania: Online Shopaholic

I dunno... if you let me use your card enough on ebay I might just be tempted to leave Chris for you (nah I'm very very just kidding... I'm not that money hungry, lmao) ;). And I remember the days without internet... I've only been 'connected' for about 3.5 years now, lol.
I'm really very painfully 'shy' (not really shy... I have that whole chemical disorder :( ) but I never have a problem meeting and flirting with guys one on one... which is why I'm a 'masterdater' :D

I do tell Chris things like that from time to time... and it makes him scowl and draw away from me, lol. In my quest to become The Perfect Girlfriend, I try very hard to hold back from mentioning such things. Chris feels very threatened by Milo so I try not to mention him yet he's my closest friend so I end up talking about him more than I should... ::sigh:: The other day Chris got really quiet and asked me if I signed online to talk to Milo (because I got up and left Chris to sign on) and when I said no he got rather upset and said, "Because if you were there would be no reason to lie to me." I think he's getting rather insecure... not that I blame him... I mean, Milo does send me love letters and constantly beg me to dump Chris for him. ::shakes head:: Sorry, I didn't mean to ramble on there, lol. ((hugs)) I'm going to be off to bed now... busy day tomorrow... take care and have sweet dreams.

retarded.

fuck perfection and fuck living up to other peoples standards, having a perfect bf/gf is boring and pointless , accept someone who isnt exactly everything right to you.

The Perfect Girlfriend...

... Self-inflating, quick deflating and durable. :p

Pessimistically, I think that's unfortunately the definition of many on this site.

For an old recluse like me, set in my ways and jealous of my space, it's also the only "perfect GF" because real women try to change things around.

Ever Facetiously Misogynistic, Weird Harold.

Yay! Someone else who ignorantly replied to one of my threads without even reading my questions!

Weird Harold - ever checked out www.realdoll.com ?
