The 'Other' sister

Thinking back to a time when summer meant a new girlfriend, a new crummy job workin for the temp agency sorting books or something i recall a girl,'Liz'.

I was not her type (she liked the football hunks) so i'll never know why she wanted me...but we had a fun summer. As summer came to a close her wyld child returned and i was dumped so she could fool around with a new batch of hunks. She didnt cheat and we stayed on friendly terms.

She, of course, had a sister one year older who was much more mellow and more my type. I was vaguely aware of the rules of asking a sibling out so...i'd never find out where that could have gone. I spoke to her once on the phone and 'Liz' seemed quite bothered by it. I let it go...

Hell, I was dumped like a cold potato...why should it bother her that I go out with her sister.

So now I ask...What exactly ARE the rules? Is this really as taboo as the rumors had made it?
