Actually I looked for similar stories a while back and it was amazing how such a simple plot is so under-explored. Most of the stories focus around the woman or significant other possibly losing their job and sleeping with the boss to keep their job, or interviews which go above and beyond.

This one--if I understand it correctly--has a nice dichotomy of the woman looking down upon those who 'use their charms' to get ahead and basically being forced to do so. Maybe she was working in a fairly good job for years straight out of high school, so only has experience with that one particular aspect of her job and has to 'start over' to survive. Yet in her neighborhood there are plenty of college kids willing to work for nothing...so she has to resort to her own dreaded tactics which she hates to do, but reluctantly has to give in.

This could go so many ways--even without any sex...
